Chapter 19

There is banging on the bedroom door. I try to get out of bed when I feel the pressure of something holding me down. Then it hits me what happened last night, and I realize it's Thomas pinning me to the bed. I smile before pushing his arm off as the bang on my door reappears. This time waking Thomas up out of his sleep as a male voice yells Thomas Jeffrey, I know your in there, and if u don't wake your ass up, I will bust into this room and pull you out by your feet.

Thomas then jumps up and runs to the door.
Yelling like a little school girl when he sees Josh standing on the other side of the door..  while I stand there laughing. I love Josh; he's like one of my best friends, so to find out he's my brother n law is fantastic.

{Rose's pov}

Waking up scared is the worst thing ever. I just up and run over to my Dovey girl's room to make sure she's still here. RJ comes in behind, looking scared himself.

My love, what's wrong?

I kiss our girl and walk back over to our room. Oh, it's nothing, just a bad dream. I'm not ready for this fight that's about to come. I don't understand why someone wants to hurt a child; what has she ever done? Why can't we get a Break? Just when things are going well, hell has to find us again.

Rj, we have to protect her no matter what. I need to know that if something happens to me in this fight, you'll still love her like your own and raise her as your own. You're all she has for a dad & make sure my sister's, Brother, and parents are always in her life, also.

RJ looks at me. My love, nothing will happen to you or me, and Dovey is my daughter. I'll always be here for her, no matter what. Stop thinking like that.

The smell of bacon hits my nose, and I run over to the bathroom, getting sick instantly. I brush my teeth after taking my shower, then go wake up Dovey as Rj walks off to handle some pack training today. Dovey and I met up with May and the kids to get breakfast. I Instantly get sick again after eating, so May takes me to the pack doctors to find out what's wrong.

It turns out I'm three months pregnant and only have two months left because an alpha pregnancy only last five months. We get an ultrasound done because I don't believe it. May is so happy, jumping all over the room.

I'm scared because there's a war coming. No way will RJ let me protect my daughter now. He's going to lock me in the safe room with everyone now.  Why didn't I catch this sooner? Thankfully my baby is healthy from what we can see.

I take my pictures, and we head off to the store. I'll give RJ a random gift tonight at dinner in front of our park. I pick out a small box to put the pictures in, a little onesie that mays is getting made next door. Then some balloons and a big box to put everything in.

The onesie will say Lil alpha in the oven. Yes, it's a boy. I also had her make Dovey a sweater that says big sister and two dresses for my sisters that say soon-to-be auntie again. And I got one small box for it with bows. Seeing May is with me, she doesn't need a box.

We sneak everything into the pack house and up to my room, where we set it all up. Of course, May has her dress on already but has the words hidden. We go down to the dining hall and put everything where it needs to be while we wait for everyone to fill in.

RJ is the last one in the room. May stands up after everyone is seated with their food. Sorry for the interruption of tonight's dinner, but Luna Rose and I have a gift for Alpha Rj, Dovey & Jesse; if we could have your attention, I promise you won't be disappointed.

I hand the big box to Rj as May gives Liz & Dovey their boxes. RJ opens his, and 20 blue balloons come floating out with a little box tied to the strings. He slowly opens it as Dovey & Liz start crying. I'm hoping for tears of joy and yelling, for real. Then RJ  jumps up & yells. I will be a Dad again while holding up the onesie for the room to see. Dovey runs over to me, hugging me as the room fills with cheers.

I then explain to everyone that I'm already three months pregnant & the baby is the pack's next alpha.
