A/N This story is set 200 years after the death of the Winx.

3rd person POV

It is a bright and sunny day at Alphea. Young fairies filed into the court yard, collecting their room assignments from teachers scattered around. An elderly Lynphean woman stood on the front steps of the school, an amplification spell hovering infront of her.

"Greetings young fairies! And Welcome to your first year at Alphea, College for Fairies. I am Headmistress Dahlia Saladin. I will be in my office if you need to speak with me while you are here. With that said, please, enjoy your stay here, and head out on your journey to a true fairy!!" Headmistress Dahlia stepped inside the school, the amplification spell disappearing as she turned. Once she was inside the quiet hum of students became an uproar of teenagers rushing inside, excited to start their year at Alphea.

Aquila Pov

I took my room assignment from Madam Dell, Room 34. The last room in the first year hall. I picked up my bags and carried them through the halls of Alphea, taking in the structure on my way to my dorm. When I reached my room I saw 5 other names on the plaque. My roommates for the rest of my time at Alphea would be Elani, Lyn, Saori, Terella, and Valda.

I stepped into my dorm, the other girls already in there and chatting. I set my bags down and waved as the one with blue hair bounded over to me.

"Hello!!! I'm Saori! I'm going to assume you're Aquila. Me and you share the room behind that middle door." She pointed to a large blue door behind the common area couch. "I've already got all of my things unpacked so I'll help you get settled, then we can all talk and get to know eachother." The excitable young fairy picked up bags and pulled me into the room we would be sharing.

I thanked Saori and unpacked my bags, pulling a parka out of my suitcase and hanging it in my closet. I collapsed on my bed once my things were all unpacked. This was going to be a good year.

Elani Pov

I chuckled as Saori pulled our final dormmate into their room. 5 minutes with my new friends and I already knew that Saori was going to be a whirlwind of energy this year. My roommate for the year would be Lyn, the anxious blonde who sat in the corner and surveyed the rest of us. I'm pretty sure I was put with her to help her come out of her shell. She's super nice, and I can tell she'll be just as energetic as Saori once she's comfortable with us, her aura told me so. It is yellow, and grey. Valda has a bright orange aura. It's almost too bright, showcasing just how confident in herself she is. She is rooming Terella, a violet haired girl with a aura as calm as her hair. I think she must be there too reason with Valda, who had already tried to do backflip of the couch 7 times. My dormmates are pretty cool. This is going to be a great year.

Terella POV

Once Saori helped Aquila unpack they rejoined the rest of us in the common area. I smiled and held my hand out to her, being the first to give her a proper welcoming. "Hi Aquila. I'm Terella, my roomates' the cocky girl standing behind you." Aquila spin around, suprised yo see Valda behind her. "You've already met Saori. The lady in pink is Elani. And her roommate is Lyn." I pointed out the other dormmates and shook her hand. This was going to be a great year.

Valda POV

I laughed when our newest dormmate startled at the sight of me. I frowned when Terella called me cocky, I'm confident, not cocky. Nonetheless, I smiled and patted her on the shoulder when I made my way back around to her. She ruffled my hair and smiled as she pointed to our other dormmates. I think we'll all be good friends. This will be a great year.

Lyn POV

I waved shyly to Aquila. I was a little nervous being around all these new girls, but they all seemed really nice. I stayed huddled against the wall but I smiled at the girls that would be my friends and classmates. As nervous as I was  this was going to be a great year.

Saori POV

I hugged my roomie tight. "Alright girls! We're going to be amazing!!" I cheered and went around the room high fiving and hugging my new friends. I barely know them  but I love them already. This is going to be a great year.
