Chapter 1
I was late for class... again.
Dammit.
I raced downstairs towards the garage. I noticed my mom's car was gone. She must have had to leave early today.
I bring out my keys from my jacket to my black Toyota I got last year after my mom wouldn't lend me hers any longer. I use the remote to unlock the car pushed myself in shoving my key into the ignition starting it up. The cars clock flashed on and the time caught my eyes. I am so late for class.
As I drove down the street I got a good look at myself in the mirror. My dark brown hair was still damp from the shower I just had to take this morning and my gray eyes looked not as bad then I expected.
Thank goodness for the green lights and no traffic today. Once I got near the school a silver Mercedes cut me off so fast and got pretty close. My tires began to squeal as I pressed on the brakes in the middle of the road. My heart was racing quickly. He just came out of nowhere. Was he trying to kill me! There was no traffic; hardly any cars on the road or else I might have caused a collision.
I started beeping my car horn as I began to pull over on the side of the road. Oh please dont let there be a dent please dont let there be a dent. As my heart began to slow down my rage just increased. The car stopped a few feet ahead of me and driver got out. A guy with black hair began jogging towards my car and began knocking on my window.
"Ow!" he yelped as he began to stand on one foot after I pushed my door open and hit just above his ankle. I slammed my door and checked my car for any dents. There weren't any, not even a scratch. When I was done inspecting I turning around and looking at the guy as he was still hopping on one foot.
He looked up as I stared at him with a stunned look on his face. "Aren't you gonna apologize for hitting my shin?!"
"Aren't you going to apologize for almost hitting my car?" I shouted trying to hold my anger.
"Well, I was, thats why I pulled over and I almost hit you but you actually hit me," he put the emphasis on almost.
"I wouldn't have hit your leg if you didn't almost kill me!"
Now he stood on both of his feet and walked towards me. "Whoa, kill you? I didn't even hit your car."
Even though he sounded sorry and sincere I was still angry and shouted, "You almost did!"
"Well I'm sorry for almost hitting your car," he exhaled, giving up. I just stood there calming down and stared at him. "Well..."
"Okay." I opened the door to my car and climbed in.
"Aren't you going to apologize now?"
"I'm really late," and with that I drove off.
I walked right into the chemistry lab and everyone was looking at me as if I just commited a crime. As if I am never late.
"Sorry I'm late its just that I..." but he interupted me before I even got to finish what I was saying.
"I don't need any excuses just sit down Ms.Hansen," said Mr.Tucker. He is not a people person and his class is one of the most boring one I have this semester. "Just take your seat." He pointed toward the seat in the back next to the window.
So I did what was suppose to be my walk of shame to my seat and sat down. I took out my notebook and chemistry textbook from my bag and started working on work on the board. There was a knock on the door that made me look up from my books .That was when that guy who cut me off when I was driving to school today walked in.
A/N I know its really short but i dint want the first chapter to have too much but the other parts will be longer
