nelle had gone to the sturniolos house after the first day of school since her parents, no where to be found, and to hang out with nick. they had invited over bella but she had to babysit her little brother. her plans changed to hang out with nick when chris and of course matt came into the living room.
"matthew not respectfully get the fuck out" nelle sarcastically smiled at matt.
"and chris can stay?"
"absolutely! in fact stub your toe on the way out" chris then grinned towards nelle as he sat on the couch aside from nick. at this matt actually laughed shaking his head trying to play it off and nelle thought- nothing she thought nothing.
"sorry to break it to you but this is the living room, and i'm staying fuck you" he said walking in to the living room more. nelle groaned at the stubbornness of matt. it was really her least favorite quality about him. he would always win when it came to stubbornness.
"matt!" she groaned once more, "i've quite literally already had enough of you for one day," she turned to nick as she spoke again, "he's in all my classes!" as the school day progressed nelle realized she had most of her classes with matt. it was especially bad in science, since he was seated right across from her and it was really hard not to look at him.
"oh shit really?" nick emphasized. as he looked at the two with a surprised expression.
"no nick, just four..." matt sighed as he flopped on the couch that was empty.
"four too many!"
"you're acting like you hate it more then me!" matt turned to nelle glaring at her.
"cause i do! you are so unbear-" nelle was cut off by nick interrupting her.
"yes yes we've gone over this like so many times can we please do something."
"for real, i've lowkey had enough of both of you." chris added.
"hey!" matt and nelle said at the same time. nelle having the same reaction as the text looking over at matt with shock evident on her face and a giggle threatening to escape. matt wiped the dumb look off her face by flipping her off. nelle returned the gesture with both hands. she slouched back into the couch.
"sorry nels," chris began "i've had enough of matt." he rephrased. nelle grinned. she would always win when it came to this.
"fucking god! why do you always take her side!" matt said sending daggers into chris' head.
"because."
"yeah because" she once again grinned.
"because is not an answer, fuck both of you."
"aw looks whose all upset little matty bo-" nick groaned cutting of nelle for the second time in 1 minute.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" he screamed, "good grief let's find someone to do now god." he pleaded again. matt whispered a quick sorry under his breath and it was barely heard. but nick heard it and sent him a thankful smile. nelle could admit she felt a little bad for matt, but she didn't thinking it would not be doing her help thinking that. she didn't want any matt thoughts sneaking in.
" ok maybe we could-" chris started.
nelle jumped when an idea of what to do popped in her head, "let's watch the office!"
matt groaned as nick and chris laughed at the sudden excitement out of their girl.
she looked over at him, he was lying down with his head on the armrest, she thought she was doing good at the whole not thinking about Matt in that kind of way. reminiscing the fact she avoided one about 5 seconds ago. she smiled to herself proud until.
matt looks so pretty- she internally groaned at the thought and focused on getting the office on the tv.
"do we have too" matt said whining not wanting to watch the tv show at the moment, he couldn't tell if he just wasn't in the mood or simply wanted to get a rise out of nelle.
"you know you could leave." she said.
"yeah stop whining you little bitch." nick said all his patience gone. matt sighed knowing he would stay anyways.
while nelle put on the tv show she really started thinking. it was way harder then nelle thought it would be, to get rid of the thoughts, maybe she would just come to a realization that it would never really stop.
