The death of Atsuko Kagari.

The day it all crashed.

One day, Akko was unsupervised all alone, on the tower where she decided to practice her flying abilities as she has done it once, she thought to do it again. It was a stupid idea of Akko.. as nor Diana and Lotte, Or Sucy were there to catch her if she fell. Speaking of unsupervised.. not even "Ursula" (Chariot) could save the girl. She had done the un thinkable.. Akko spoke the words "Teya Freley!" and floated.. she then tried to control the broom as she floated off the platform.. something went wrong. Something FELT wrong.. No.. Akko wasn't flying anymore. She was falling. She let out a loud yell as she fell and fell. No one could hear her as her back hit the ground hard first, then the rest of Akko's limbs. Soon enough Lotte, Sucy, and Diana were looking for Akko as the girl wasn't in the dorm, nor were she in class.. Diana found Akko's body. She was devastated. Diana fell down on her knees and hugged the body tight.. crying. She yelled out "Akko" more and more. "Don't you die on me.. Akko.. please.. No... no..." As it caught Lotte's and Sucy's attention as she ran over to Diana, looking down at Akko's dead body as they all started to cry.

Diana hosted a funeral for Akko a few days later, everyone had attended..

Diana: "We are here, gathered to the death of A-Atsuko Kagari." She sniffled as she was on the verge of tears again. "We have lost a poor soul, who have fought her life to be an amazing witch, just to like Chariot Du Nord. The Incident of Akko, falling off the platform, falling to her death. We have loved the witch Akko is. Our clumsy, joyful classmate yet our reckless kid. What can one say about Atsuko? She was someone important who we didn't know we needed in all of our lives. A witch with no heritage. No traditions to call her own. A stranger in our midst, a witch who struggled more than any of us to achieve her dreams despite having a handicap that would have made most of us quit in the face of how insurmountable it was. None of us realized that she was what we needed. But every last one of us here in this room today had our lives touched by her. The lessons she taught merely by being who she is will stick with us for the rest of our lives. From her, we learned how to be true to ourselves. She taught us how to strive for our ideal places, how to work for our dreams, how to recognize what each of us can do without comparing ourselves to others, to see it through to the end and the importance of patience, that traditional and modern powers can work together to open our eyes to an unseen world, how to give thanks to those who guided us, a-and..." Her voice cracked, and she cleared her throat. "And how to connect with others." Diana spoken through those words with tears in her eyes as she couldn't help but to cry at the end.. she went and sat down next to her friends as she was also sitting next to Lotte and Sucy. Diana held her head up high as the top of the casket was open for them to see Akko's face. Chariot cards laid around Akko, as she held the replica of the Shiny Rod in her hands, laid on the middle of her chest. The moment Diana walked and looked down at Akko's closed eyes, her pale like skin.. the blond haired girl gently stroked Akko's hair as she kissed the girls cold forehead. She cried and cried, the feeling of such pain haven't hit her as hard as this.. after that, Diana received Akko's hat and Plush. Lotte got Akko's chariot's poster. Sucy got one of Akko's cards that granted her the power of mushrooms that Akko made for her back then.

Everyone left the place. Yet Akko's body was burred in the yard of Luna Nova. Flowers were everywhere for Akko. Diana was always going to Akko's grave.. Yet the day they graduated they all walked to Akko's grave.. she placed Akko's diploma and the graduation hat on the stone. Diana kissed the Marble that had Akko's name and last engraved, born and death.. everything on the rock.. and a little saying Akko once said. "I don't need to be like Chariot.. She's herself. Im Akko, and Im myself. I'll live for my words, i'll be the best witch ever! No matter who I am. Everyone has magic inside them."... ever since they graduated, Diana cried herself to sleep, hugging Akko's little bird plushy of Chariot's bird, Alcor.. it was hard for everyone to move on. Even they went over to Luna Nova for Akko's birthday. Christmas. New Years. Easter. Everything. Diana was the one who mostly took her time at Akko's grave.. she never took a hand of a man. The witches lived long. As Atsuko was never to be forgotten.
