It's been three days but Manda is still unconscious. The investigation is ongoing—news and articles about the incident disperse like a wildfire. It's like our station dropped a bomb, and other stations feast on crumbs; nag uunahan ang reporters at journalist ng iba't-ibang istasyon.

As of the moment we are protecting Manda's identity. We don't want it to be revealed to the public.

What's strange is that... the station that was competing with our network is silent. I find it really strange. The detective was right. Mukhang malaking tao ang kalaban dito.

Through our station, it became a helpful hand in their investigation. Detective Santos released the footage of the black sedan. He was right, along Commonwealth Highway, the sedan disappeared.

According to the news, before it could be captured on the next CCTV, it vanished.

If the other victim doesn't want to talk, Manda is the only person who can tell. The situation for us is tight.

The case became more confidential.

I badly wanted to ask. I wanted to at least be one of them, but I don't want to become a burden. I can't breathe every time I come to the hospital and see Nana fragile while holding Manda's bruised arm.

The calm pool is slightly quivering because of the afternoon wind. I've been floating for almost an hour now, trying to calm my thoughts.

I opened my eyes as I heard a distant thunder.

She was unresponsive.

I came back to reverie when I heard our doorbell ring. I covered myself with a robe. I'm not expecting any visitor today.

"Zild?"

For two days, Zild and I only updated each other through exchanging messages. I guess he's busy with his business and school requirements.

May pasa 'yon, nagdudugo pa. His eyes were tired, but still managed to give me a smile. Inisang hakbang niya lang ang distansya namin.
