Hi author here, so I brought the academy starting age down to about 4 but it ends at the same time.

It was a bad day for Naruto he was trying to get supplies he knew he would need to survive outside, but they kept on kicking him out at this point he was about to just say fuck it and travel to Iwa wear he could become a strong shinobi purely to hopefully help them in another war with konoha there was no way they wouldn't have one, hell you'd have to be blind to not see the tensions rising between konoha and the other villages I mean even Suna there ally was showing small signs of aggression

He moved to the next shop he needed equipment this means weapons he wasn't the best in the class at shurikenjutsu but he was up there the shop he stopped at looked decent the sign was a kunai that said higurashi weapons, he moved inside the boy heard the ding of the shop door open he saw a man at a counter he was a big man who was staring at him with something in his eyes it wasn't the usual hatred Naruto moved towards the counter while feeling the mans emotions the man felt nostalgic and confused.

Naruto wanted to get out quick he still needed food but something was different here and it intrigued him "hello shopkeeper san" the man was broken from a trance of memories as he once again looked at the blonde boy in front of him "what are you doing here boy this is a ninja shop" in all honesty he didn't mind kids in the shop as long as they understood the importance of safety around these weapons "I was exiled for a murder I did not commit and I am trying to get the needed essentials for survival and I keep getting kicked out"

Then Naruto felt it he saw the mans hands tighten around the counter and Naruto felt an unbridled furry coming from this man he'd only felt this from one other he remembered the way the hokage felt when he was kicked out of the orphanage. He also remembered the public execution for that woman later a crime was never stated but all the adults seemed to know what happened

The rage morphed into concern the man stood straight "grab what you need free of charge and wait right here I'll be back" then the man walked into the back Naruto was really intrigued now he didn't need to be told twice he moved down the roes of weapons he grabbed kunai and shuriken he grabbed holsters for both and a map he was ready to go when he saw sealing scrolls he grabbed some and turned once more when he cought a glimpse of a set of weapons a katana wakizashi and tanto all of them in a sheath so dark blue it looked nearly black the handles a still dark but lighter blue than the sheath he pulled one out of its sheath to see his reflection in it he strapped the katana to his left hip with the wakizashi and hid the tanto under his left sleeve he walked back to the front of the shop and he felt the mans will harden to an incredible degree

"Listen Naruto" Naruto just realized he never gave his name to the man in front of him "your father saved my life and I owed my life to him for that, since he is dead I will help you to make sure your father's soul rests in peace. Your father was Minato namikaze the fourth hokage and your mother was kushina uzumaki the last princess of whirlpool and you are the jinchuriki of the kyubi no Yoko everything I have told you is an S rank secret and I will confront the hokage about this doing so will surely end in my death I ask you to take my daughter so that she is not also tried for the sins of her father"

Naruto was in a state of shock but that last piece of information reeled him back in from his thoughts "what do you mean you'll die old man" the use of the nickname came naturally it was a term of endearment the hokage had lost and this man gained in his place "I will tell the hokage what I told you I will remind him of who you are and for sharing an S class secret I will die. here" he thrust a letter and two scrolls to Naruto "the letter is for my daughter give it to her her name is tenten higurashi she is a year older than you make sure she is safe the scrolls were left by your parents i was interested with them when your godfather jaraiya left the village read them when you leave"

Naruto was again hit with the force of a sledgehammer by that news knowing he had family that abandoned him... That hit harder than when he was kicked out he swore to himself he would hear out the mans reason only after beating the shit out of him.

The shopkeepers voice broke him from his trance "tell my daughter I love her and tell her her daddy was strong in his last moments and that he was happy with his decision" Naruto spoke before the man could leave "why do this you could just leave with your daughter if you don't like the way this village is going you could keep your family together" the man gave a melancholy smile and walked out towards the hokage office "what if she doesn't believe me" the man turned around "give her the letter. Now hurry up you've got about an hour she should just be getting out of class you can catch her if you hurry." He turned again and began to walk

Naruto took to the trees towards the academy and found a bunch of kids leaving. He saw a girl being harassed by a boy dressed in a green leotard with a bowl cut he would haveade a joke about his eyebrows if the situation wasn't so serious he heard the boy call her tenten though so he figured he got lucky. "Tenten higurashi"she turned to see a boy about a year younger than her who was wearing swords from her families shop he was blind and had marks on his face that were oddly reminiscent of whiskers

"I need to talk to you" the boy sounded serious so she excused herself from Lee and followed him around the back of the academy where Naruto told her who he was and handed her the letter hoping it would prove he was showing the truth. The girl in front of him broke down in sobs and turned before Naruto grabbed her "what are you doing" the anger radiating off the girl when he grabbed her was palpable "I could ask the same" she shook of his hand "I'm finding that idiot who thinks he can just get himself killed and leave me a letter"

Naruto could tell she was stubborn but he really didn't have time for this "your father made his choice I tried to convince him otherwise... He told me to tell you he loved you" she finally realized the man that raised her that taught her to throw a kunai who thought her everything she knew was going to die that she left her with this boy a year younger than her because he trusted the boy so she would trust him. "When do we leave"
