Y/n's pov :

As I arrived at the university with Lisa, I told her to head towards the gate and wait for me while I parked my “expensive” car in the parking lot. Watching her walk away, I noticed the boys gawking and practically drooling over her. She shot them a disgusted eye roll, which made me chuckle. That's my girl!

After parking, I heard the unmistakable sound of my least favorite chorus.

“Wow! Did you see her car?” one guy shouted.

“Probably a gift from her sugar daddy,” a girl sneered.

“Total s**t energy, if you ask me,” another chimed in.

“Hey! Watch your mouth! That’s my girl!” one guy yelled back.

“Oh, please. She’s already mine,” his friend retorted.

More voices joined in.

“Not a chance! She’ll be my girlfriend,” another boasted.

“In your dreams, buddy.”

“Y/n, baby! Be my wifey!”

“No, baby girl, be my children’s mother—and my mommy too!”

And finally, “I can please you way better than any of them, babygirl.”

The comments didn’t seem to end, and they were making me deaf. Climbing out of my car, I threw them a deadly glare that managed to shut them all up in an instant. Satisfied, I strode over to where Lisa was waiting.

“Girl, your fanboys are gonna make me deaf,” Lisa said, rolling her eyes.

“I don’t give a damn about their bullshit, woman!” I laughed.

Lisa smirked. “Whatever! Even if I were a boy, I’d probably be like them too. I’d want to date you because you’re that kind of girl everyone wants!”

“Shut up!” I replied, raising an eyebrow. “Seriously? You too?”

Lisa just laughed. “Well, too bad we’re both girls, and I’m straighter than a ruler.”

I nudged her playfully. “Time’s ticking—let’s get moving.”

We started walking down the corridors toward our lockers, brushing off the stares and giggles that followed us as if we didn’t have a care in the world. We finally reached our lockers, and as soon as I opened mine, a bundle of papers tumbled out, hitting me right in the face.

“Oh, gross!” I muttered, realizing they were love letters. Lisa burst into laughter, and I shot her a glare that shut her up quick.

I flipped through the letters. They were from random guys wishing me a happy birthday and begging me to be their girlfriend. Really? I rolled my eyes, tossed them back into my locker, grabbed my things, and left for class, leaving Lisa to catch up.
