The year is 2063, and there have been many changes to the world. Technological advancements were seen not only in the homes of all, but in health care and uses for the safety of others. Most notably, the government of South Korea issued a task force of specialized personnel, which undergo consensual genetic and physical modification in order to become Guardians for the people of the country. Their physical and mental tolerance for fighting and justice are enhanced, and they become assets that assist the police, although some prefer to work alone.
Seo Changbin is an officer dedicated to his job at the STAY Department, having been in this field for the past two years. While he is still a rookie, he believes he can make a difference. When he was younger, he was saved by a Guardian, but he ended up in hospital for some time. There, he would experience the greatest misfortune and luck in his childhood- when he is teamed up with a Guardian on a mission, the past comes back to him, and he begins a quest to uncover a grim truth within the Guardian Clan.
