I place my skates into my bag and zip it up. I'm currently still wearing my training clothes, consisting of black tights, a black mini skirt and a white long-sleeved sport shirt. I lace up my shoes, take my bag and leave the ice rink, since it is the end of the September it is still a little bit warm but I know the temperatures will continue to drop, so I still enjoy the last warmth.

I walk on the sidewalk and put my headphones in, to play some music. The afterglow is illuminating the city.
I have a happy smile on my face, since I talked with my best friend Evelyn three hours ago. I can't wait to see her again, it feels like it had been ages and I totally miss her.

I look down at my phone to change the song when I suddenly crash into a wall.

A wall? Where did that came from.
But as I step back I realize it wasn't a wall, more like a really hard body.

"I'm so sorry." I quickly apologize and than my breath gets caught in my throat as the man turns around and I see none other than Kai Mori standing in front of me. With a black t-shirt and some black sport pants.

He doesn't even look surprised to see me here.

"Isabel." He says, my name rolling off his tongue like sweet sugar.
God, why does he look even more attractive since the last time I saw him.
"H-hey." I stutter and I blush, well done, now you embarrassed yourself.
He smirks slightly and looks me up and down.
"You're still skating."
"I am." I reply, now with more confidence.

"Are you heading home?" Kai asks and I open my mouth and than close it.
Should I say yes? I mean, I am going home but why does he want to know that?
God, I'm overthinking again.

I look around and glance to the building on my left, Hunter-Bailey, the gentlemen-club.
I glance at him, he's still waiting for an response.

Great way, to make things awkward Isabel.

"Yeah I am and you?"
"I was just on my way back to Delcour." He replies and I nod. Delcour is where he and the other horsemen live, alongside my best friend who lives one floor underneath them.
"Do you want a ride?"
"Oh no, I don't want to burden you, I'll just walk 15 minutes."
"You could never be a burden to me." Kai answers, his tone oddly soft but he quickly composes himself and gestures to his black Audi car that is parked on the sidewalk.

"Alright." I give in and walk towards his car, I glance his way and see him smile for a second before it disappears. He unlocks his car and opens up the passenger door for me.
"Thank you." I mutter and send him a small smile.

I sit down, placing my bag between my legs and strap the safety belt across my body. The interior is black and I can smell his strong perfume in the car, alongside some deodorant.
