A/N Hehehe.. have a lil smut.

I spent 5 days resting, everyday my bandages would get changed, my wounds cleaned. Today I was allowed to take them off, at least the ones on the cuts. My burns had to remained bandages for a few more days, but I was allowed to leave, and sleep in my own room instead of the garage. I was glad, because it got cold in there, and that little heater did nothing for me. But I did appreciate the gesture.

I walked out of the garage to find König asleep in the arm chair, and Soap in the kitchen making a sandwich. He looked over when he heard the door, giving me a smile.

"Look who's up and walking. How do you feel? Are you hungry?" I just chuckled at him, honestly I thought it was cute how quick he always acknowledged me.

"I'm fine. No, I'm not hungry. Thank you for the offer though." I cleared my throat. "Where's Ghost?"

"Should be up in his room." He said, going back to what he was doing. I nodded and began to head upstairs, heading to Ghosts room. The door was shut, so I knocked. In a couple of seconds, Ghost opened the door, fixing his mask as he did. So it does come off.

"Y/n. You're up." He said, sounding surprised. He cleared his throat. "How do you feel?" He went monotone again.

"My arms are sore, but it's better than it was." I said, he looked to my arm. I lifted my right one so he could see it better. He looked up at me, almost surprised, before looking back at my arm.

"Why did you come find me? Did you need something?" He cleared his throat, I could see he was wearing very different attire. He was dressed.. comfortably. A black t-shirt, and some sweatpants. I could see his tattoos for once.

"I actually wanted to talk to you. Could I um.. come in?" I asked, picking at the skin on my thumbs. He grunted, and sighed before opening the door wider.

"Okay." He grumbled, and I stepped inside. He shut the door behind me, which honestly made me flinch. He crossed his arms as he looked down at me. "What did you want to talk about?"

"So.. Soap told me that.. you were the one who found me." I said quietly, messing with my hands again. "And I wanted to thank you. Because.. if you hadn't.. I might be dead." His body stiffened, and his gaze hardened. I see why I wasn't supposed to say anything now.

"You don't need to thank me." He said coldly, I met his gaze. Accept the gratitude asshole. I shook my head, stepping towards him.

"Stop being this cold shell of a man, and accept the fact that you saved my life. So you deserve a thank you." I said, sounding annoyed. It almost looked like he'd smiled under his baclava.

"Fine. You're welcome. Happy?" He grunted, beginning to walk past me. I grabbed his wrist, stopping him.

"Will you stop for one second and actually have a conversation with me? Fuck I get more words out of König." My tone was exasperated. He looked down at my hand on his wrist, then up to my face again.

"I'd like to know who the man that saved me, twice, if that's too much to ask." I said, keeping my tone soft. I watched his eyes soften, he gently pulled out of my grip.

"No. I promise you, you don't." He said grimly, shaking his head. "You won't like me."

"I promise you, I do want to know you, Ghost." I said, grabbing his hand this time. "Why are you so afraid of letting me know you?" He watched me, studying my face. His chest heaved, I couldn't read him at all. Not even his eyes.

"Ghost. Say something." I said, pleading at him with my eyes.

"Because.." He started, a heavy breath escaped him. "Because I'm afraid to know you.." My gaze faltered for a moment. He's afraid to know me? What the fuck does that mean.
