Chapter 7

FEW DAYS AFTER

Astrid was waiting for William to talk with her like what he usually does but, it never happens.

Right now she's holding the quill pen the old lady gave her but she hid it on her satchel.

William on the other hand was quite focus with his work as usual he was watching his squad practicing but his eyes got focus with Astrid she's really active and he loves how she listens attentively with Klaus.

"Like this?" she strikes a target with her magic and the target got exploded, William smiled how Klaus got surprised and Astrid laughed "Eh? stop playing around!" Klaus shouted "What? you told me to hit it!" Klaus turn around and his expression changed from annoyed to smiling, he was smiling secretly but he cleared his throat "But you destroyed it!" he fixed his glasses and faced Astrid again with serious face, Astrid smiled again "What- Astrid!" Mimosa laughed at Klaus reaction "What? I'm not even doing anything to you!" Astrid said, clearly they having good time and she likes teasing Klaus.

William walked towards his squad "Captain" they all salute at him "I hope you all doing good" They nodded, he looked at Astrid she smiled at him "Astrid do you have spare time?" she was a bit surprise but she act calmly "Yes Captain" he motioned her to follow him.

The other was a bit surprised "What's with them? seems like Captain have his favorite" Klaus said, Mimosa just smiled "But admit it, they look good together, right?" she said excitedly, Yuno looked away "But Astrid is same age as Yuno, right? she's just nineteen I guess?" Klaus was unsure "What's the matter with that? I Don't think it matters!" Klaus just shrugged his shoulder.

William brought Astrid to an open space "Astrid" her heart beat rapidly "Yes Captain?" she asked, he took a deep breath "About to what happened during our mission, please forget about it. I just let my emotions to carry me" she fell into silence for a while, she can't believe that all this time it's just his emotions that carries him "Oh okay...I understand" she said casually and took a deep breath, William feels like his heart broke when he heard how casually she said it, he was hoping her to ask him why or at least be honest with him how she feels but it did not happen.

Astrid feels like she wants to flipped the table around but she took a deep breath and sigh, she sat on her bed then stood again to go out.

She sat at steps and watched the other Golden Dawn walking around, she just sat there and wonder how William really feels for her "Should I take the risk?" she took the quill pen again from her satchel then she stood and walked.

She found William standing at the Veranda and he was alone "Captain!" he looked at her "Astrid, what is it?" she smiled slightly "I forgot, uh I have something to give you" she took out the quill pen "Here" she slowly handed it to him "Oh" he took it gently and looked on it "Thank you this is beautiful" he smiled at her "Yes, it's a thank you gift because you're so nice to me!" she smiled and it's a signal that the ice between them finally melted "I really appreciate it! I wish I can give you something too" he blushed a little "Uhm you don't have to! your kindness is the best gift you gave to me" he sighed while smiling.

Mimosa saw them walking together "Yuno look!" she nagged Yuno as she pointed to the two and he looked down, he saw that William and Astrid are talking with each other while smiling as if they were having a great time "Waaah! I wish they start dating! Captain needs someone like her on his life!"  Yuno just looked away.

FEW DAYS AFTER

"You heard it correctly, as a reward for our constant successful missions we will be heading for vacation!" everyone clapped their hands as William announced their rewards.

Everyone was excited about it but Astrid was a bit nervous "Astrid!" Mimosa ran towards her excitedly and held both of her hands "Aren't you excited!? we will have vacation!" she smiled at her "Of course I am!" Mimosa noticed the nervous that she have "Is everything alright?" she asked with a bit of concern "Yes, everything is fine" Astrid replied with smile before she walked away.

She went to the library and read some books regarding to Royalties and she found an interesting book where in it's about the first wizard King "Lumiere Silvamillion" she it carefully and did not expect that it would be that long.

She fell asleep reading the book when Klaus entered he saw her sleeping "Oh Astrid" he carefully took the book and put it back on the shelf then he patted Astrid's cheek to wake her up "Five more minutes please" he raised his eyebrow "What hey you're at the library" Astrid got up and wiped the side of her cheek "Oh! I fell asleep!" she gaspd and looked around "Where's the book?" she asked and looked up at Klaus "I put it back oh by the way, I have something to give you" she smiled and stood "What is it?" he cleared his throat "Follow me, I've been looking for you" she scratched the back of her head and smiled "I'm sorry" he just sighed.

Klaus brought her to his room "Here, when Captain announced about the vacation I decided to buy this for you" she looked at the bag he handed at her, she took it and opened "Woah" it's a beach dress that was in the color of cream "It's beautiful!" she took it out of the bag, Klaus looked away "Can you try it on? I want to see if it fits on you" she nodded, he guided her to his dressing room and close the door.

When Astrid came out his jaw almost fell, the dress was about the knee and he cleared his throat and fixed his glasses "Y-you look beautiful- I- I mean... it's cute!" he she smiled "I appreciate it Klaus, thank you!" she twirls around and smiled at him.

FEW DAYS AFTER

Astrid was in the bathroom, the other girls have already changed their swimsuit "Damn! I Don't know that Crimson Lion will be here!" she's covering herself with a towel "Astrid?" she gasped hearing Mimosa at the outside of the cubicle "J-Just a second!" she said and took a deep breath before she opened it and faced Mimosa "Huh? why are you covering yourself? let me see it!" Mimosa pulled the towel "Wait-" her eyes widened, Mimosa gasped and smiled "Waaaah! perfect hourglass body! you're so sexy, Astrid! come on now!"  Mimosa dragged her.

Her heart beats "Mimosa!" she pulled her hand from her, Mimosa gasped and looked at her "U-uhm Sorry! I'm nervou-" she wasn't able to finish her word "Mimosa!" Leopold came running towards them "Leopold! oh this is Astrid" Leopold looked at Astrid from head to toe and smiled brightly "Nice to meet you! by the way let's go!" he motioned to the two to follow him "Don't be nervous Astrid, you look absolutely alluring!" Astrid nodded and took a deep breath.

Fuegoleon faced Mimosa and got stunned seeing Astrid only wearing two pieces that were in the color of black and the chest part was lacy, Astrid blushed and Fuegoleon gasped "You're so red! are you okay, lady?" he asked in concern "Huh? uhm yes the sun was quite hot!" she smiled, Fuegoleon smiled and approached her "You look dazzling by the way" she tried to be confident and smiled "T-thank you" The others were looking at her too "Yunoooooo! Mimosaaaa!" Astrid gasped being surprised when someone shouted loudly "Eh? who's that?" she looked at the distance.

"Asta!" Mimosa ran towards the party that was heading at them "Oh seems like Blackbulls made it here too, I wonder where the Silver eagle is?" she looked up at Fuegoleon,  she saw Captain Yami and she was surprised when Finral suddenly ran towards her "Hi! I saw you during the examination! waaah! you look absolutely gorgeous! are you single? do you want to go out with me?" he winked at her, she gasped and it gave her shiver to her spine "Hah?" she exclaimed "Oh sorry I am Finral Roulacase! nice to meet you beautiful lady!" she gasped when he kissed her hand, she shrieks and slapped Finral down at the sand, Yami laughed "looked at that idiot! that's what you are getting!" he laughed loudly.

Astrid saw Gauche and her lips parted his calm demeanor caught her attention but it seems like the guy did not mind her and was still busy looking at his little sister's picture "Oh you made it Captain Yami!"  the moment she heard William's voice her stomach started rumbling.
