In the morning, Boros and Kelsey wake up. The sound of birds outside fill the room with a lively and happy melody. Once they stir almost fully awake, Boros remembers last night. If he had lighter skin, he would be obviously blushing. He recalls the way he was observing Kelsey as she disrobed. How her undergarments accentuated and showed off every curve of her body. The memories quickly turn to a sense of embarrassment as he attempts to focus on their goals for today. He looks over to see Kelsey standing up and reaching for her clothes on the nightstand beside the bed. Seeing her rear bent over in front of him brings the feelings he felt last night to the front of his mind. Kelsey turns around to see him staring intensely at her before quickly turning his aside.

"so... are you going to get dressed or just stare at me all day?" Kelsey says, her tone indicating that she is teasing him once again. He takes the hint and begins to grab his clothes from the chair he placed them on, not aware of her own sneaky glances. She was too quick to turn away and continue dressing for him to ever catch her in the act.

Boros begins putting on his clothes, taking the opportunity to reply to her jest. "so what if I do, you don't seem to mind too much." Kelsey is putting the last of her small items in her belts when she hears his attitude shift so suddenly. She is almost in shock that her prude of an ally is saying such things.

Kelsey chuckles cutely for a brief moment before continuing the conversation. "Why would I mind? It doesn't hurt anything by looking, does it?" Her response is a bit shocking to Boros, he didn't expect her to be so carefree about him sneaking glances at her. The way she says it, he almost wonders if she enjoys the attention.

Boros stops dressing himself for just a moment as he ponders what she says. "I guess it really doesn't matter to be honest. I just didn't expect you to be so understanding of that kind of thing, what with your upbringing and all" He feels a bit of relief while he speaks.

Kelsey shouts, seeming slightly agitated. "Can we just forget about me being a princess, damn!" she throws her arms around as she speaks, adding to her irritated tone. "I'm tired of everybody always thinking that I'm supposed to do this, or act like that, all because I'm a princess." she calms down a bit more with every word, slowly walking closer to Boros until she's standing directly in front of him. She's looking down at the floor as she speaks sadly "I have an identity outside of being a princess, ya know. I'm not some boring and prudish, prim and proper lady." She looks up at Boros, who's been staring at her quietly this entire time. "Look Boros, You're a good friend... no, a great friend. I can't think of anyone else who would be willing to just up and leave their entire lives behind to help me with this." She presses herself against him, burying her head into his chest. He holds her in his arms as she continues. "I trust you, Boros. And if you want to stare at me, then that's fine. I'm just happy to have you with me." Their moment together lasts almost a minute before she backs away from the embrace.

She stares up at Boros as he finally shares his own thoughts. Thank you Kelsey, I think I understand you better now." He smiles at her while he continues. "You're a wonderful friend too, you're one of the only people to not judge or poke fun at me learning magic instead of picking up a sword like most of my family did." His demeanor changes to be a bit awkward with his next few words. "I don't mean to stare, I hope it never made you feel strange. I just never expected you to be so beautiful, since you're always wearing such formal clothes in the kingdom." He chuckles awkwardly a bit as the last few word escape his lips.

Kelsey begins to blush as he hears him speak so highly about her.  She smiles back at him. "I don't feel weird at all, you're the only one making it weird." She laughs and gives him a swift jab in the arm before she walks away to continue getting ready. "Let's finish up and head back to the bar, maybe the bartender knows something about the people we're looking for." Boros nods in agreement and the two finish preparing and head downstairs. As they walk down the stairs they see the giant clerk at her desk.
