I had another dream that night of what might happen the next day. Was it a good dream? No, it was one of those dreams that wakes you up immediately, you're sweating and confused.
I went to bed knowing I might have a dream about it, which made me a little restless when I was trying to fall asleep.

The dream started with me locking up the shop and then going to the pendulum clock with Roman numerals and the birds carved into it, which was my plan to do in real life the next day. I carefully took the clock off the wall from the hook it was placed on.
Once I did this, the shop went dark like the first dream I had, except there wasn't light coming from out in the street, there was a light that was illuminating a tunnel that now shows where the pendulum clock was.
I crawled into the tunnel, which is not something you probably should do, and right behind me something shut. I wasn't able to leave now. My heart was racing and my vision was crowded and blurry. My palms started to sweat.
I could feel that in real life I was starting to get a little uncomfortable and I could feel I pushed my blanket off to try and stay asleep and stop sweating.
All of a sudden there was a sense I was being chased, who would be chasing me? These tunnels seemed empty. Did something crawled from the corner I just passed? I then started to crawl as fast as I could through the tunnels, using every ounce of energy I had left inside me. I couldn't see anything, I was making turns left and right through dark tunnels...
I then started to fall, all I could see was a spiral of black and white as if I was being hypnotized by the world. My heart was pounding worse than it was before, but then my heart dropped.
I was awake.

I could not stop thinking about that dream the whole day. I was contemplating whether I should investigate or not. When I passed the pendulum clock I would walk by it quicker, and I would jump a little. All I could think about was the dream I had.
After another day of no customers, it was time to close the shop for the day. I had decided, I wasn't going to wimp out, I was going to investigate. What was going on? I needed to find that out, for me and the future people who will come in here or work here.
I was still worried I might end up like Amanda Murray, scarred, and end up quitting. But my curiosity wanted me to explore.
I quickly locked the door to the shop, then I went over to the pendulum clock to move it away. I let out a big sigh, I couldn't believe I was going to do it.
I carefully lifted the pendulum clock off the hook, I kept my eyes closed because I didn't want to look. What if my dream was right? I started to have second thoughts.
I turned away from the wall and carefully rested the pendulum clock on the floor. I took a deep breath, then counted down to turn around and look. This is it, is my dream true or not?
One.
Two.
Three.
