A Blind Eye

What happened! Wait... what did happen?

I found myself lying in the bed of my dormitory. It was awfully quiet. Must have been a bad dream. I got a fresh pair of clothes and was ready to have some breakfast. But it wasn't a dream... I know this because the moment I exit my room she's there, Amelia! she is standing outside my door with a relieved look.
"Thank goodness your ok!" she exclaims. But I was still confused over the fact that she was here but had to many questions, I didn't know what to ask first. But before I could think of what to ask first she told what had happened and properly informed me of her presence in the shuttle.
"Like I said yesterday, my name is Amelia. And as for my appearance, I am here under HQ orders to see how you guys are doing." She didn't need to recall her name this time. 
"Yesterday you went into a complete shock while seeing your friend covered in blood standing in front of you" She said very suddenly and scarily casually. But I didn't remember seeing him covered in blood... So what was she talking about? 

"What do you mean covered in blood? He looked completely normal."  We had started walking towards the hospital wing but I still hand many unanswered questions. But it was at this point she stopped. I thought that we had arrived at the room where Martin was healing but she had made a face which was a mix of scared and confused. 
"So you didn't see him covered in blood?"  She said slowly. I think I heard her swear under her breath and then stood there, possibly thinking of what to do. We then finally continued to the room where Martin was waiting patiently. Still somehow at this point looking even better than better than yesterday.
"So your sure you don't see the blood?"  She asked with a worried tone. 
"No."  I replied.
"huh... where am I?"  Martin mumbled as he gained consciousness. His movements appeared painful but still, no signs of injury. However when I checked the charts, they played a different tune. He had broken 27 bones. and had been unconscious for the last 17 hours like I had been.
