After calming Gu Wei down and making sure he's showered, Chen Yu is pulling up to his husband's favorite little sushi restaurant. Gu Wei sighs, taking his hand as they enter the restaurant.

"Think Zimo ge is okay?" Gu Wei asks, biting his lip.

"He's taken a bullet that barely phased him. A few punches are nothing." Chen Yu says, kissing his temple. "You okay baobei? Let me see those pretty little hands." He says, sitting across from him as they're seated and reaching out his hands.

"I'm fine." Gu Wei blushes, the hostess grinning before she leaves.

"Oh, Wei. Baobei look at your knuckles." Chen Yu frowns, kissing the red swollen marks.

"Uhm, could I get you gentlemen something to drink?" A waiter asks, winking at a blushing Gu Wei. "Don't you fret sweetie. All love is beautiful. And such a handsome, caring partner."

"Mn, thank you. One draft beer and, something fruity. Surprise me." Gu Wei grins, Chen Yu still pecking kisses on his knuckles and examining his hands.

"I've got just the thing." The waiter smiles and saunters off.

"Yu'er, stop. I'm fine." Gu Wei grins, Chen Yu licking a knuckle. "Lao gong! You'll get us thrown out for public indecency." He chuckles, pulling his hand back. He looks at the menu, but pouts.

"What's wrong baobei? This is your favorite place." Chen Yu says in confusion.

"I can't decide." Gu Wei whines, pouting and giggling as the waiter returns.

"Here we are gentlemen. One tall draft beer, for the tall drink of water." The waiter grins, placing a beer in front of Chen Yu. "And for the deceitfully delicate looking brawler, a Drunken Barney." He winks and places a rainbow colored fruity concoction in front of Gu Wei. "Well, my meimei dragged me with her to celebrate pride month. This was the best thing I discovered that night, but not the only thing." He wiggles his brows and laughs. "So, would you like to order or do you need more time?"

"There's an off menu special your chef does." Chen Yu grins, Gu Wei looking confused. "The policeman's combo platter. And a side of egg rolls, please."

"Ah, you must be the policeman! I'll put that right in for you." The waiter hurries off, humming to himself.

"He's, very chipper." Gu Wei says grinning.

"Likely just realized he's bisexual during pride month." Chen Yu says absent mindedly, still inspecting Gu Wei's hands.

"You think?" Gu Wei asks, glancing over at the waiter as he flirts with the bartender. He leans back in his chair, crossing his arms and smirking at Chen Yu. "Policeman's combo platter, huh?"

"I always get the same thing for you when I stop in." Chen Yu says, rubbing his neck and looking away. "I happened to have been waiting in line one night when some idiot tried to rob the place. The chef and owner realized I was a cop and made up the combo platter for me. It's all your favorites."

"Aiyaa, you're just so incredible lao gong." Gu Wei teases, noticing Chen Yu fidgeting. "What's wrong?"

"Kiki figured out, he's near train tracks." Chen Yu says, taking a deep breath. "Ge and I are going to start early in the morning. We have eight possible places he could be hiding. I'm ending this tomorrow baobei. I promise." Gu Wei swallows hard, nodding.

"See that you do Yu'er and then, come home." Gu Wei says softly, the waiter pausing with a large platter and two plates.

"Should I come back?" The waiter asks, seeing the mood and Gu Wei's teary eyes.

"No. Thank you." Chen Yu says, leaning back and looking at his husband. "Now, is the perfect time."
