**Quin**

"Why is the idea of prom so nerve wrecking?" I questioned trying to make my hair lay down in front of the mirror.
"Because we get to dance in front of people who both love and hate us?" Amber grinned, her hands on my shoulders as she peered over them to look in the mirror as well.

She was already in a knee length gold and pink dress with gold heels to match, her brown hair was in curls and her brown eyes were brighter from the pink eye shadow that helped them pop.

"It just feels unreal, going I mean." I murmured.
Amber watched me before she smiled softly.
"You should have known you would be asked by someone, but at the end of the day, it turned out to be Asher Woods. A surprise to us all." She told me.
I turned to my sister with knitted brows.
"It's still a surprise to me as well, but this mark," I motioned to my shoulder that was still in the process of healing.
"Says otherwise, I'm marked by Asher." I smiled softly.

Amber smiled in response to that.
"I'm happy for you, everyone in the house can agree, you deserve this chance of happiness Quin, and I'm glad it's with the one you would walk through fire for." She brought me in for a hug as my arms wrapped around her.
"Thank you Amber, me too." I smiled softly.

"Damn boy you clean up niceee."
We turned to the door and I grinned seeing Beau at the door already grinning at me.
"You single?" He teased as I rolled my eyes.
"Knock it off you dork." I grinned and he smirked in response.
"I can't help it, you look good, Asher is lucky." He shrugged.

I smiled at the other.
"I think it's the other way around," I nibbled my bottom lip.
"I'm the lucky one." I said looking at my sister and best friend.

"I mean, I started from the bottom but got saved by some amazing adults who I now call my parents, I gained seven siblings and now I'm marked by an alpha who I thought was out of my league.. I'm really lucky to have you guys." I said looking at the two but my eyes grew wide at the sight of them both crying.

"So beautiful." Beau wept rubbing his eyes.
"I have to fix my makeup." Amber cried stepping out of the room.

"You are both so dramatic." I smirked as Beau looked at me teary eyed.
"It's your fault for being so sentimental out of nowhere, you gotta warn me when you wanna bring out the tear jerker, you jerk." He whined.
I smiled at the other.
"I'm sorry, but to make you feel better, I also got lucky with having the world's best friend named Beau Morris, without you? I don't know how I would have survived high school on my own, so thank you." I smiled.

Beau's eyes swelled with tears.
"YOU ARE SUCH AN ASS, THAT DID THE OPPOSITE OF MAKING ME FEEL BETTER." He cried burying his face in his hands crying.

"Hey, dumb and dumber, you two almost ready? Your dates are waiting downstairs." Jinx poked his head into the room arching a brow at us.
I stared at the other who was in dark blue plaid pajamas.
"Are you not going?" I asked him.

Jinx scoffed.
"Of course not, prom isn't for everyone and I'd much rather stay in my room watching anime or reading manga." He shrugged looking at us.
"But it's obviously for you, so get going." He told us.

We nodded heading for the door but Jinx grabbed my wrist, he looked angry about something before he closed his eyes and let out a soft sigh, before he was looking at me.
"Have fun tonight." He said letting go of my wrist.
I blinked but smiled softly.
"I'll try you big softy-"
"Oh fuck off already, you're giving me a headache." Jinx whined walking away now as I grinned but headed for the stairs.

I sucked in some air before letting out a soft sigh.
I really have came so far from who I used to be.
I still had my moments of being scared of change, but I also knew I had my family and friends who had no problem being the support I needed.
Words will never express how grateful I am to my parents for taking me in off the streets.
And I hope my other stray siblings feel the same way.

We came from families who didn't want us to only be founded by a pair of crazy adults who took us in, without even asking what our names were.
A vampire and an omega, deeply and madly in love with one another but had more love for their children than anything else.

They knew how to make us feel loved, protected and cherished.
And for that, I will always be grateful to be a part of the Grimes household.
Always.

I walked down the stairs, my eyes caught Asher who was talking to my papa but paused when he caught sight of me.
It made me nervous as he left the adults side and went to the end of the staircase, his eyes on me with his hand out stretched, waiting for me to take.

Nervously, I took the others hand who brought me closer to him.
"You look amazing." Asher smiled pressing his lips to mine.
I blushed looking at him.
"You do too." I told the other.
"I always look amazing." He joked with a smirk that followed.
I rolled my eyes but smiled as my attention fell on my parents.

"I want you to have fun tonight, Quin." My dad told me as I nodded with a soft smile.
"I'm going to try my best, but first." I looked to Asher who let my hand go as I stepped up taking my dads and papas hands.

"I wanted to thank you both."
They looked confused.
"Thank us for what?" Dad questioned with a soft smile.
I looked at them.
"For letting me be your son, for being my parents, who have done nothing but loved and supported me since the first day you brought me home." I told them.

"Damn is someone cutting onions in here?" Papa questioned as dad smiled at me with tears in his eyes.
"You never have to thank us for something like that baby, you were family the moment your papa found you. But what you just said? Made me feel like I am doing something right, and I love that, like I love you." He ruffled my hair with a soft smile.

"Now, go have fun with your date tonight, make memories you can share with us in the morning." He told me.
I grinned but nodded stepping back as Asher took my hand.

"I won't keep him out too late." He told my parents.
"You better not, I know where you live." Papa said warning the other whose face drained of color.

I grinned at my papa.
"Stop teasing him."
Papa smirked softly.
"He makes it too easy, but seriously, get going before you miss out on all of the dances." He told us now.

I blinked but nodded as Asher walked me outside and we headed for his truck.

We walked into the school cafeteria as the music blasted and everyone was either already dancing or helping themselves to refreshments.

"Do you want something?" Asher questioned as I looked to the other shaking my head.
"I'm okay." I responded.
He nodded leading me to the dance floor as I tried to ignore the eyes that were on both of us.

["The Mess I Made." By Parachute plays in the background.]

"Everyone is staring." I frowned.
Asher looked around then back at me.
"Then let's give them a reason to." He told me bringing his hand to my lower back and brought my chest against his as his eyes gazed into mine.

"Ash-"
"I've told you countless times, I even marked you, do you still believe this is all an act?" He asked dancing with me.
I blushed.
"Of course not, it just makes me nervous from all of the eyes looking at us." I frowned.
Asher blinked but he smirked softly.
"It's because they're jealous, at the end of the day, an alpha like myself won a breath taking omega like yourself." He told me.

"Stop." I laughed as he danced us around the room.
"There it is, your laugh."
"What about it?" I looked at him as he smiled.
"It's beautiful." He told me.
My blush darkened.
"You think my laugh is beautiful?"
"I think all of you is beautiful but your laugh sure is a bonus." He grinned bringing his lips to mine as I smiled into the kiss.

"I think you're insane, Asher Woods." I told him.
Asher grinned softly.
"That would only make you more insane for putting up with me, I mean what were you thinking?" He teased dipping me backwards then back up so I could face him.
"I'm still trying to figure that part out." I grinned as he smiled softly dancing us around the room.

Asher looked around before his eyes fell back on me.
"You wanna get out of here?" He asked me.
"I thought you'd never ask." I laughed as he walked us out of the cafeteria and down the hall, there were students out here but either making their way back into the dance room or outside to the parking lot.

Asher walked us through the locker room that brought us to the other exit that brings you to the football field.

I looked to the other.
"What are we doing out here?" I asked him.
Asher shrugged with a grin.
"I thought it would be more peaceful than having our classmates being insanely loud around us in a small room." He told me.
I blinked but grinned.
"That's fair." I smiled as he walked us to the center of the football field.

"Shall we resume our dance but in a much slower pace?" He suggested.
I stared but blushed with a nod.
"We shall." I told him.
Asher smiled bringing his hand to my lower back and brought my chest back against his.

"You are getting better at this." He pointed out as we danced in the grassy field.
"No thanks to you." I grinned.
Asher sighed.
"What can I say? I enjoy dancing when I'm with the right person." He told me.
I looked at him.
"And am I the right person?" I questioned.

Asher smirked softly dipping me backwards.
"You most definitely are the right person, there is no one else who I would rather be dancing with, Quin, you are the love of my life." He told me and my blush darkened as my brows knitted.

"Too soon?" He asked.
I shook my head with tears in my eyes as I looked at him.
"It just sounds unreal, can you say that again?" I requested.
Asher blinked.
"You most definitely are the-"
"No no no, not that part." I grinned as he stared but smirked softly taking my hands in his.

"Quin, you are the love of my life." He repeated as the tears slipped past my eyes looking at him.
"And you are mine." I told him.
Asher smiled caressing my cheek as his eyes gazed into mine.
"Who would have known that the little omega could change the heart of an asshole alpha, who at one point only cared about himself and wanted to make that omegas life hell?"
I looked at him.
"It just took chance after chance to get it right until it finally did." I smiled.
"And now here we are." Asher looked at me as my expression softened into nothing but love for the other.

"Here we are." I agreed.

Asher smiled softly.
"I love you, Quin Grimes."
I will never get used to hearing those words as I looked at him.

"And I love you, Asher Woods, now and forever." I told him.
He blinked but brought me in as his lips pressed to mine.

"Now and forever sounds like a long time, do you think you can put up with me forever?" He asked.
I grinned.
"It'll be challenging."
"Very." He smirked kissing me.

"But like before? I'm up for the challenge, I just hope you are." I told him.

It took the right people, the perfect family to change the mind of a scared omega to see the better things in life.
And nothing, and I mean nothing, could get better than this.

I just hope, my siblings find the right people and fall in love the way I have, because like me.
They deserve happiness.
Even Jinx does.

Yeah..
Especially Jinx.

To Be Continued....

------------------
Hey everyone! H.Stowe here and the fourth book is officially complete! I struggled with it a bit but I love how I ended things with this book.
I hope everyone enjoyed reading it but as you know, this is far from the end on the series to "A Vampires Omega."
I still have more books on the way, but it will take time to get them all out, I just hope everyone looks forward to what I have in store.

After I return from my break, I plan on bringing back, "My Alpha Billionaire." Because I have a lot of plans for that crazy story, and once it gets near its end.

The fifth book, "A Vampires Alpha." Will slowly be making its way to the surface.
I've had a lot of fun with my characters and the chaos that follows with each story.
It makes everything a lot more interesting.

But with that, I hope everyone has a fantastic week and I will see everyone sooner rather than later.
Until then.
