ORT continued to keep its "face" aimed at its Master's face, yet the eyes across its body began to look around.

Ritsuka blinked and then nodded, "Destroy them."

ORT stepped forward, shielding its Contractor, as its eyes glew red. Swiftly moving its limbs, namely its arms, it blocked the incoming projectiles.
As the intensity of the assault picked up, primarily focused on the Master, ORT let out a wholly alien noise, akin to a beep. A green halo shining at its back and hieroglyphs of multiple colors appeared along it. The halo began to cycle, turning into a kaleidoscopic ring of light.
The familiars and drones began to attack ORT's halo in addition to its Master, yet no harm befell either of them. Magical and energy based attacks were absorbed, physical projectiles were either evaporated by the halo or blocked by ORT, and anything foolish enough to get close was cleaved in half by one of ORT's insectoid arms.
