Y/N POV
The next day I woke up a little early and organized my new study room whoever I wanted. Jungkook had already brought all the books I needed for my course.
And like he promised, Mrs.Lee was at home in the morning teaching me everything that I missed out at the university.
After a couple of hours, she ended the session and I couldn't help but thank her for a hundredth time.
"It's okay, Y/N. You have already thanked me enough times" She chuckled. "Besides, I'm just glad to know that your husband is caring enough to let you continue with your studies. Otherwise, once a girl is married, all they want from her is a kid or be a slave to their husband" she scoffed at the latter part.
"Anyways, I'm just happy for you Y/N. He seems like a nice guy" She smiled before standing up to leave. "Have a good day, Mrs.Lee" I wished before she exited.
With that, she left me with a lot of thoughts. She was right though. Ever since he has married me, he is nothing but caring towards me. But the fact that he shot a man in clod blood right infront me gives me second thoughts about him. Oh god!!! What kind of test is this?? This guy is so confusing!!
I sighed leaning my upper body on the study table, still thinking about him.
Jungkook POV
It was already late evening when I reached back home from the work. And as I walked towards my room, I caught Y/N wandering in the corridor. She was looking here and there, back and forth, scanning the room.
I got suspicious and started to follow her. Taking the stairs, she went to the upper floor. Her hands were crossed behind her back, she was tip toeing here and there like a lost kid.
I unknowingly chuckled at her cute figure. As she moved, her fingers ran over the flower pots and plants hung on the grill of the open corridor. Sometimes she would bend and smell them.
She was absolutely adorable and I couldn't help but smile and admire her from afar. I guess she got bored in her room and thought of talking a walk.
She walked down the corridor and stopped infront of the liquor storage room. "Wahhh!!!.....even alcohol lives a luxury life here" She spoke making me laugh, which I rarely do.
Funny, how a girl I just met a few weeks ago managed to warm my heart and bring a genuine smile to my face. I scoffed at myself as I kept gazing at her. She then moved further and gasped looking into a room.
Y/N POV
After going over my neglected studies, I got bored and decided to explore this huge mansion. So, I started walking around, and went to the upper floor.
Then I came across a room which had a pool table in it. I immediately got excited because I love that game and I'm damn good at it. The café where I used to work had a pool table and sometimes after work, Lisa and I would play it.
I picked up a cue stick and was looking at it when I heard a voice. "Do you play?" I slightly flinched and turned around to see Jungkook leaning against the door frame with his arms crossed. I gulped and just nodded at him. Turning around, I was about to keep the cue stick back in it's place.
"Even I love this game. Wanna have a match?" I was about to say 'No, thanks' but suddenly a idea crossed my mind. "Umm....I will play if we can make a bet" His eyebrow cocked in surprise and he pushed himself off the doorframe and slowly walked towards me.
"Interesting. What kind of bet?" He asked curiously. "If I win, you will let me go back to the café I used to work at" He instantly scoffed shaking his head as No.
