Jungkook POV

Y/N and I walked out of that place after the kidnapping fiasco and saw Jin and Jisoo standing near my car. "Daniel's taken care of. No need to worry" Jin spoke as we approached them. I gave him back a thankful nod and all of us got into the car, driving towards our home.

"Noona, how did you where I was? I didn't tell you about the location" I asked Jisoo. "After our phone call, I tried calling you again several times but you didn't pick up. I got suspicious, so we tracked our phone. It showed a location outside the city and I knew something was wrong, so I took our guards and reached there" She explained while I nodded.

"Thank you, both of you", "Come on, Jungkook. What's with the formality? We are family" Jin said patting my shoulder. "Yeah, and I think you have something else to worry about right now" Jisoo spoke moving her eyes towards Y/N who was sitting silently while staring numbly outside the window. I could tell that she was still in shock about the incident. I was worried.

Y/N POV

When we reached back home, I got into my room and sat on the bed while my mind feel like it was spinning. I guess this is what they call PTSD, the fear and anxiety from that place was still hitting me. I felt exhausted and constrained.

To shake off this feeling, I stepped into the bathroom for a relaxing bath. I stood under the shower and let the water run down my body. But no matter how long I stayed there, the water didn't seem to wash off the horrible thoughts that wandered my mind.

Giving up, I came out of the bathroom with my night PJs on and plopped on the bed. I tossed and turned in my place to try and find a comfortable position to sleep. But every time I closed my eyes, I got scared. I felt like I was back in that dark awful place. I couldn't sleep.

Irritated by my own self, I walked out of the room and into the balcony. Fortunately, the weather was in my favor. The light chill breeze hit my face as I stood there holding the balcony railing. The view of the far away city was amazing, it was pin drop silence and felt peaceful. I closed my eyes and took deep breaths, letting my mind and body relax. Seeing this view, no one could say that some really horrible things happen as you get closer to it. Alas, it's just pretty from afar.

I was fully lost in the moment until a voice interrupted me. I slightly flinched in my place and turned around to see Jungkook. "Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you" He said approaching me. "It's okay, I am fine" I replied heaving out a small breath. "Are you really?" He asked while my eyebrows creased in confusion.

"Hmm??", "Are you really fine?" He asked again. I took a pause reading this face, he already looked so concerned, I didn't wanna worry him anymore. So, I lied. "Yeah, ofcourse. All fine" I spoke avoiding his eyes and looking away. But he saw right through me.

Holding my chin, he made me look back at him. "Don't lie to me Y/N. Your lips may mumble something but your eyes are telling me the truth" He stated. "It's nothing Jungkook, I really don't wanna worry you" I tried to put it off. "Y/N I will be worried if you don't open up to me. I wanna be there for you but I can't help if you shut me out like this"

I just stared at him as his eyes showed concern and desperation to help. "Y/N, please talk to me. What is it?" He almost begged. And I couldn't hold in my emotions anymore, so I blurted out. "I am still so scared Jungkook. I am afraid to close my eyes. What if I go to sleep and wake up in another strange creepy unknown place again. I know it sounds crazy and dumb, but I just can't shake that feeling" I spoke out in one breath.

I looked at him and saw his eyes filled with guilt and vindication. He looked very sorry to have caused it. He breathed out trying to compose himself and moved closer o hold my hands. Enclosing my palms in is, he looked into my eyes.
