Who is ruling in your life?

   "I will therefore chastise Him and release Him.

   (For of necessity he must release one unto them at the feast)

   And they cried out all at once saying, Away with this man and release unto us Barabbas:

   (Who for a certain sedition made in the city, and for murder was cast into prison.)

     Pilate therefore willing to release Jesus, spake again to them.

    But they cried saying, Crucify him, crucify him.

    And he said unto them the third time, why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him and let him go.

    And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.

    And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required.

     And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired; but he delivered Jesus to their will.
                     Luke 23:16-25

         I wonder what these people were thinking, I mean, how could they have asked for a criminal to be released unto them, instead of Jesus?

   What did Jesus do to them that made them to hate him so?

    They were just so blinded by their hate and refused to acknowledge the truth.

      And it's still so in the world now, the mention of the name of the Lord Jesus is a great offence to many people.

     Anytime I read this story, it's gets me thinking about what's happening in the world, I mean the way this people rejected Jesus and asked for Barabbas instead, isn't it same thing that's happening our days?

We have rejected Jesus, and given the devil whom is a thief and a destroyer total control over our lives.

  We might not know it, but if Jesus is not King over our lives, if He isn't the one ruling over us, then the one with the rule is the devil.

      Jesus has not come to steal from us, He has come to give us life, He hasn't come to destroy us but to save us.

       Who will you allow to rule over your life, I mean every area of your life not just some part, is it Jesus or the devil?
