I'm awoken by someone jumping on my bed, at first I freaked out but then I remembered that Emily is here and go back to sleeping before she basically screams at me, "WAKE UP BITCH ITS RACE DAY!" My god she can be loud when she wants to be, "What time is it?" "930, now get up." Oh my god this girl is something else but I get up grab my phone off my bedside table and head to my bathroom to have a shower, as I'm walking to my bathroom I look at my phone to see I have a couple off notifications and scroll through them.

I look follow him back on Instagram and then decide to make mine private because I feel like his fans are going to be a little hard to deal with, not in a bad way but I just don't want that attention at the moment, I then open his messages up.
Charles: 11.03pm: Okay, I'll follow you! 7.34am: Good morning, you should totally wear something red today.
I laugh at this but I don't answer yet, I'm going to have a shower first, then get ready. I have nothing red so he will have to live with what I already have planned to wear, I also just don't want people reading to much into us. We are literally friends and nothing more so I don't want rumours going around about me or him of us being together. I get in the shower and do my morning routine then start getting dressed, Emily is almost done, all she really has to do is her hair, she can get ready fast it kind of scares me but she is also just so naturally pretty she doesn't have to do to much. Me on the other still have to get dressed and do my hair and makeup, which will take me probably 40 minutes to an hour. Emily decides to help me after I'm actually dressed. We do our normal and take photos and then head off to the track.

As we are in the car I remembered about Charles' messages and actually replied this time.
Me: I have nothing red so you're out of luck buddy 😂
I honestly don't think he'll get back, he's probably hella busy at the moment so I just put my down, "So, what should I expect for today?" I ask Emily, "Okay, this race is always a little unpredictable, maybe some overtaking maybe not, maybe some rain maybe not, maybe a crash or two maybe not. You never really know." "Okay." I feel my phone vibrate, I look at it and turns out it's Charles he replied? I really thought he wouldn't.
Charles: Damn that's sad, I might give you something haha. I'll see you soon yes?
Me: Yeah Emily and I are on our way there less than a minute away.
Charles: Awesome, the same lady from yesterday will be waiting for you.
Me: Charles stop it, we don't need to sit in your garage every time.
Charles: Too bad.
I roll my eyes even though he can't see, when I look up turns out we are at the front of the paddock, we get out and sure enough there's that lady again, "come on ladies let's go." Emily looks at me with a smile she obviously knows where we're are going and I'm just looking at her with a look that means don't start beaming at me I'm not happy about this. We walk to the garage and get given headphones again before the drivers all come out. The F2 race is on at the moment and honestly it's interesting maybe just as good as F1 but not quite, the F2 races finishes and I see Charles walking into the garage with a smile as soon as he sees us, we'll really me but I just want to say us. He walks over and gives Emily a quick hug then me, he then gives me what looks like a jacket, a fucking Ferrari jacket, he did say he would give me something but I never said I was going to wear it. "Uh thanks I guess?" "I like your outfit and now I feel like the jacket will ruin it." " oh it definitely will so i peeing wear it." I laugh and he joins in before he gets called by someone, he looks over to them and tells them one minute, "Well looks like I've got to go but I'll see you later." He hugs me, "Bye." And I actually hug him back for once I think he was a little surprised because he tightened around me and I felt so safe it's been so long since I've felt safe in a man's arm, its nice I miss this feeling, "CHARLES LETS GO!" Someone calls he slowly let's go and leaves with a smile i even have a smile on my face, I look over to Emily to see her watching me with a look that I can't even describe, "What?" "Oh nothing, just that you like him." " I honestly don't." "That hug says otherwise." "It just felt nice to feel safe in a guys arm for once." Before I realised what I said I've already said it. I wasn't going to tell anyone anything about Kai but it's slipped out, "What do you mean?" "That's is a conversation for another time Em." She looks at me with a look look of concern but I just brush it off. Charles comes back out in his race gear ready to get in his car but before he dies he comes back over to me and gives me another hug while whispering in my ear, "This one's for good luck." "You'll do great" I tell him because I honestly believe he will, he pulls back and gets in his car. As he takes his spot on the track my head quickens 'I really hope he does good' the lights go out and the race begins he managed to do a couple of overtakes and ends up in P3 and I'm so happy that I'm clapping so loud for him. Lap 30 someone crash my heart stopped for a moment but it wasn't Charles, the race ended up being red flagged and the drivers all came in, he gets out of the car and talks with his team until the race restarts, he has ended up in P2 and I couldn't be happier. Lap 77 him and Max are fight for P1 just before the finish line Charles ended up overtaking him and taking P1 winning the race the whole of Ferrari are freaking out including me I'm so proud of him. He comes into the pit-line and parks informer of the number 1 board then gets out jumping celebrating with his team, I somehow ended up at the front and when he sees me and give me a hug, "I'm so proud of you Charles you did amazing!" I tell him, "Thank you!" We let go and he's off. After all the celebrations everyone goes back to the garage just before Emily I make the lady comes back and she takes us somewhere else, Charles is waiting for us as we get there, "So the grid is parting tonight you guys coming? "YES!" Emily practically yelled at him and that leaves me no choice but to go. We get back to my apartment to get ready it doesn't take us long thank god. We take our photos and head out to the club Charles told us to met him at.

We get there and walk in, it's not hard to miss the group Charles sees me and comes up giving me a hug and telling me I look beautiful, he then takes us over to the group to met everyone, I honestly don't think I'll remember everyone's names but we'll see. I get a drink to try and catch up to the rest they all seemed to already had a couple, after a couple Charles pulls me to the dance floor and I'm not much of a dancer but I let it happen. He pulls me super close when all of a sudden he try's to kiss me, I pull away just in time, "Charles what are you doing?" "Im so sorry Scarlett" "I'm just not ready for a relationship Charles. I just got out of a really bad one and I just need some time on my own. We are friends and that's all. I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong idea." "No you didn't and I'm so sorry, friends." I smile at him and our night goes on to be great.
