(This is the before knowalge of the our story "Straight at first sight".)
First off Saphire is a 16 year old girl,who lives with her grandparents due to a tragic accident where she lost both of her parents. She feels like something is missing, so she wants to go back to the place of her birth in search of a fill for that void.(she was born in an isolated village in japan, named Genta)
Mark is a year older then Saphire. He also lives in Genta, and the two use to be best of friends, untill the tragic accident.
The two don't remember each other tho, so when Saphire returns they act like total strangers to each other.
