It was was warm and stuffy in the students reception room where Sapphire waited for the student body president. He was to show her around the school and familiarize her with classes locations. Annoyingly, he was taking such a long time causing the young female to wonder if he would ever show up. As the time went on patience thinned, till suddenly she couldn't take it any longer!
What in the hell was taking that idiot so long! Sapphire threw up her hands in utter irritation. Ten minutes late, and counting. What a student body president this guys was! Sapphire rolled her eyes in exasperation.
Finally she let out an annoyed growl, "That's it! That is it! I have had enough of all this waiting. I can find my way around here on my own!" Marching from the unbearably suffocating room, the enraged female started down the hall in a rage of anger...
~Many anger filled minutes later~
"........." looking around in confusion, Sapphire stood in a seemingly abandoned hallway, unsuccessful in her travels to find her bearing as of yet. "GOD DAMN!!" Throwing her schedule to the ground she voiced her frustrations, "Why the hell can't I find where I'm supposed to go..." Continuing down the deserted hall way, the lights begin to flicker, causing Sapphire to begin feeling fear adding to her already on edge mood.
"Hello? Anyone there?" Sapphire called into the dark hallway that seemed to expand endlessly into a pit of dark nothingness. When got no response came but a faint movement noise she called again "Please if anyone is there come out, I think I am lost." Again no answer but the small shifting that could easily be curtains in the wind.
Well it seemed she really was alone -- in this
...dark...
...creepy...
...deserted...
...old building, where it seemed no one stepped foot let alone used in the last decade or so. Now her senses were on high alert, as she made her way down the hall way in utter stealth.
"Quick and quiet, and ill be alright. Quick and quite." she began repeating to her self under her breath "quick and quite, quick and quiet, quick and quiet, quick an-
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Sapphire went bolting down the hall way.
Running past blurs of doors, the frightened female left no room for what ever had appeared before her, be it demon or human, to catch up. Lungs burning as Sapphire ran made no difference, it wasn't until her initial scare wore off that she slowed her pace to a light jog. As she came across a cracked open class room, Sapphire finally decided that she was no longer being perused and hide with in. Welcoming the safety the classroom provided, at least more safety then the hall way, she slumped against the cold inside of the desk made for teachers.
Now that she had caught her breath there was time to think about the events that just happened -- she shuttered at the though of possible paranormal encounters.
Well she had been creeping down the hallway when suddenly something grabbed her shoulder. The initial surprise had spooked her so much that she ran away screaming -- okay probably not the best solution seeing as that could have been a possible savior. But you can't blame the girl for being scared out of her wits by begin grabbed out of nowhere! It's cool don't say a word or make any sound as you approach someone from behind -- just soundlessly grab their shoulder.
That's not scary at all.
yeah.
right.
That was scary as all hell! Seriously who in their right mind would do that, other than those who wished to do harm to the person they are sneaking up on.......or
...demons...
Okay, so it more than likely wasn't a demon but hey fear make you believe in more unlikely factors. Sapphire began to panic once again as the sound of the door sliding open etched into the room. Holding her breath she had yet to notice the shadow of a figure make its way under the table.
Moving closer, reaching a hand out to touch her.
A hand made contact and she began to scream again-- "Ahh-mumph" --when the other hand clasped over her mouth.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Sushhhh" A boys voice began to sooth the shaking girl, whispering calmly "it's okay--shhhhh--it's okay now".
Finally, when Sapphire calmed down, the guy let her go where she took the opportunity to turned and face the mystery guy. Stunned was the least you could describe as the female gazed at the prince who lay before her. He looked like actor-- model-- something that was no shy of the public eye, with his hair a light brown that looked like woven caramel silk. And his eyes-- OH his eyes--like deep pools of blue green from the depths of the ocean, that women and men alike would wish to drowned themselves in.
"Are you okay now Miss Himako?" said the boy with a look of concern.
"w-who are you, a-and how do you know my name?" She said in a quiet, yet stuttering voice, still not completely recovered from the scares from recent past.
