In 267 AC Rhaella Targaryen gave birth to her first Daughter and second surviving child Daema Targaryen in the Ruins of Old Valyria after a ship wreck.
Daema was the very embodiment of chaos. As soon as she learnt to walk and talk it was hell in the red keep.
This caused her to be closer to her brother.
Aerys did love his second born more despite her gender but her chaotic ways always made the people unhappy so in many attempts to protect her he exiled her.
But she always came back. He sent her to Dragonstone, Driftmark, The Vale and even Casterly Rock but she caused more chaos everytime.
She even snuck out with Darksister to fight the fifth Blackfyre Rebellion in 279 AC at the age of 12 name days.
Even as a child Daema was rather intent on keeping their Valyrian blood pure. She was thought high Valyrian by her brother, her father and her aunt Saera Targaryen- Velaryon.
So when she was betrothed to Jaime Lannister on her 5 moons before her 14th name day. She deeply expressed her hate for the Lannisters. So it came as no shock when she married Brandon Stark who was 5 years her senior, who also wanted out of his betrothal to Catelyn Tully.
