A not so sweet encounter

My trip to new Orleans was not for work, the jewelry company in Paris had shipped the necklace I had them customize for Yvette, it is an emerald necklace with her name in it and I was so excited to see that she loved it. Tonight we are going on a date, I want it to be special, because she's special to me. When I think about how we met, she's not changed a bit, still feisty, beautiful and strong, my love for her grows everyday and I know I want her in my life forever.

I drive off to her house to pick her up, when I get there it looks like Ellie and Zack are having a date.

I'm trying to call her but she's not picking up the call, where is she. My phone rings and it's Joan the housekeeper at my parents house, why would she be calling.

What I'm seeing is something I will never forget, Yvette, my Yvette, she's half naked and my idiot of a father is completely naked trying to.. trying to ra..rape her, tears have flooded her eyes and looks like she's given up. I pull him off her, and slap him

What the hell do you think you are doing?!! ( I punch him to the ground, I continue to hit his face till he is unconscious and the cops rush in to pull me away from him, I'm fueling with anger, I turn around to look at Yvette and throw my coat around her, she's shaking. For the first time I see tears in her eyes, I see fear, I don't see hope , I see a broken soul, she's covered in hickeys, disgusting hickeys from my father, my own father, she's like this because of me,)
Hey you're okay , you're okay ( I carry her into my car)
I contact Ellie and Jackie quickly, her face is covered in tears and she's not saying a word, she's just looking at the window, it's breaking my heart, I don't know what to say and I think that's good. I carry her out of the car and into my room and gently place her on the bed.
Do you want to take a shower, I ordered clothes for you, or..or a bath maybe( more tears flow from her eyes and Ellie , Zack , Jackie and Jake rush in)
Yvette, Yvette hey look at me it's me Jackie ( she says with tears in her eyes, I signal the men to get out as she's only wearing my jacket)

I'm in the lobby. How could I let this happen, why in the world would my father try to harm her. I contact the lawyer immediately.
