Levi's POV:

Eren. Eren. And more Eren.

My mind has been a complete mess since I saw him in the shower house yesterday. Every space in my mind is filled with that beautiful, brunette boy who I just can't seem to get out of my head.

I don't know if this is a normal way for someone's brain to work. I'm not supposed to care if my Cadet if okay, or if my Cadet if upset. It isn't normal for a Corporal to be thinking about their Cadet twenty-four seven.

So why am I like this?

The break had ended yesterday, and everybody was back on the regular schedule. But Erwin decided that since everybody had had a week off, that they should have some one on one practice matches. This would mean that all of the soldiers in a squad would face off against each other. However, I guess Erwin thought the squad leaders were already in good enough shape because he allowed us to watch from the sidelines. I was perfectly fine with it, it just meant that I got to watch Eren fight.

Damn it! There I go again!

So now here I am standing in the front of the crowd of people beside Erwin who is announcing who will be facing off first.

"First up is Connie vs. Jean!"

I could hear cheers coming from the crowd at the mention of the two cadet's names. So it was no surprise to me that they walked up acting like they were something special.

Tch, stupid brats. They had no idea what it was really like out there.

When both men had taken their positions, Erwin shouted to begin the match and everyone went silent.

Jean was the first to lunge, but his technique was terrible, and his footing was sloppy. With this in mind, Connie quickly dodged and landed a punch on Jean's face. The shorter cadet smirked at his accomplishment, but was surprised to find his feet kicked out from under him.

The next thing all of us knew, Cadet Connie was on the ground getting his face bashed in by horse face. I chuckled inwardly, and watched as the match ended with Erwin peeling horse face off of Cadet Connie.

"Next up, Mikasa vs. Sasha!"

The entire crowd went silent at the mention of Mikasa's name. I don't blame them, she was the most powerful female cadet we had had in ages. Most of the crowd from what I saw as shaking in fear.

When the two woman faced each other in the middle of the crowd, I could visibly see Sasha shaking while shoving a piece of bread in her mouth.
