Levi's POV:

The minute Jaeger collapsed I automatically rushed over to him. I pushed people roughly out of the way, and came to a sudden halt when I saw him.

Collapsed on his knees and a defeated look on his face was how I found him. Eren looked like he was trying to cave in on himself as if to disappear from this world. The sight broke my heart into two.

So I did the only thing I could think of in this situation. I simply fell on my knees beside him, and pulled him into a hug.

I could feel him tense, but he soon relaxed. But then he started sobbing. I could feel my shirt being soaked, but it didn't matter right now. I could only think of the images that I had seen earlier during the wall breach.

The minute I saw Mikasa die, I knew that Eren was going to go insane. From what I knew, Mikasa was the only person that was left of his family. That's a pretty big hit to take in one day.

But before I could do anything, Eren shot up his head and screamed something at the Titan that I couldn't hear. Then he ran towards him at break neck speed, and sliced through it like it wasn't a threat at all.

I could only stare at him in surprise as the look on his face turned to rage, and he quickly disappeared. He looked like a monster as he killed everything in his sight. All the soldiers who saw him automatically moved out of his way at the sight of him.

I'm pretty sure that he killed every titan in the vicinity. I knew that deep down I should feel proud, but now I could only feel pity because of how broken he was in this moment.

Images from earlier still flashed clearly in my mind as I held him in a tight hug. Eren was with no doubt in my mind broken. I was about to speak to him when I felt him go limp in my arms.

Oh No!

"Eren!" I screamed.

He made no move to respond and I quickly picked him up bridal style. Not wasting another second I sprinted towards the base.

Eren would not be alone if I had anything to do with it.
