Chapter 9 : A Deal With The Siren

A/n : As much as I hate those who ask for an update, I can't do the same for those who are willing to wait patiently. Belfast POV.

I can't sleep...It's already three in the morning but why can't I even rest my eyes ?...It might be because of Y/n, after he came here everything has changed. The little destroyer is no longer scared and hungry, all the adult ships were much happier than before. We can do anything that we want other than worrying about dying on the battlefield.

I decided to take a stroll to his office and when I entered it, the huge stack of paperwork was already gone. I guess he has been pushing himself to his own limits which I'm very happy for us but he also ignores his own wellbeing.

I walked to his table, everything was tidy and when I checked the table I found something that I wasn't expected to find. The dairy of him which I took before took a seat on his chair and opened it. I turn the table lamp on his table before pointed it at the diary.

There's a checklist at the front of the dairy and I saw multiple things that Y/n plans to do, one of them including building a playground, a dorm for a new faction.

I opened up the next page and throughout the diary, all I read was just his feelings about us. About how he thinks about shipgirls, about him being sympathetic towards us for being treated so horribly.

I can feel that I was starting to smile after I read : " Belfast is the best maid I ever had, she's pretty, very nice but sometimes really scary...But at least now I have found someone that I can rely on "..A step closer to uncovering the truth behind his smile.

While I was still reading his diary, suddenly I heard the door of the office being open. I looked at the door and saw Enterprise was standing at the door.

3rd Person POV

Enty : Belfast ?...What are you doing here, in Y/n's office this late ?

Belfast : I could ask you the same question Miss Enterprise.

Enterprise started blushing before turning on the light in the office.

Enty : I-I was planning on removing Y/n's belongings to his new room.

Belfast : Hmm ?

A sly grin was formed on Belfast faces.

Enty : W-What with those faces of yours ?

Belfast : Nothing~

Enty : *sigh* Fine, is there anything you want to talk with me about him ?

Belfast : Do you like him, Miss Enterprise ?

Enty : Wha ?

Belfast : I'm going to ask you one more time...Do you like Y/n ?

Enterprise looked at the Head Maid of Royal Navy. She looked at her eyes and all she can see it was lifeless.

Enty : What's wrong with you, Belfast ?

Belfast : Me ?....There's nothing is wrong with me, I just want to keep Y/n safe.. Aren't you curious, on what hidden behind those smile of him ?...Those gentle smile that he shows to us before...The story that is hidden behind it...

Enty :...Yes...I am curious but I won't bother to asked him, I'm gonna wait for him to tell us himself...But I do have a hint who's behind his trauma..

Belfast : You do ?...Who do you think that person is ?
