Gulf was nervous. The phone in his hand was shaking a bit. He knew if he did this, Bright would be mad, but he needed to do it, or else he wouldn't be able to kill Witaya.
With a big breath, he dialed a number.
"So, you made up your mind?" A voice from the other side asked.
A few days ago, when Bright and Gulf were discussing the plan, he received a message. The message told him that they knew about the plan and would tell Witaya about it. But, they would keep it a secret if Gulf gave them a sum of money and met them personally.
Gulf knew right away it was a trap. That meant there was a mole in the group. And Witaya knew that they were trying to set him up. So, if he told Bright about it, someone might report back to Witaya and he would go into hiding. This was his one chance to meet him.
"I agree. Send me the address," Gulf said, gulping.
"Good. Make sure to come alone," the voice said.
Gulf hung up the phone and got dressed. He was nervous because he didn't think he had the strength to fight Witaya.
"Love, you look good," Bright came and hugged him from behind, kissing him on the neck.
"Thank you, love," Gulf smiled.
"Perfume? Did you want to go somewhere? Let me go change first," Bright said, letting go of Gulf.
"It's okay, love. I just wanted to visit my cafe. It's been there untouched, so I kinda missed it. You don't need to come with me," Gulf lied, holding Bright's arm.
"It's not safe, love. There are people out there who want to kill you," Bright said, worried.
"I know love, but staying in the house makes me feel restless. I just need some fresh air, love..." Gulf said, trying to reassure Bright.
"Then, I can come with you," Bright said.
"No. It'll bring more unnecessary attention. I should be alone. Besides, it's my town," Gulf said, showing his wide smile.
"But-" Bright started but was cut off.
"Are you confining me, Bright?" Gulf narrowed his eyes. Hearing his name, Bright sighed.
"Don't call me that, love... Fine, I'll let you go alone. But, I want you to wear the tracker," Bright said, holding Gulf's waist. He surrendered himself. He couldn't handle it when Gulf called his name without a nickname.
"Okay, love," Gulf said, kissing Bright's cheek.
Bright set a tracker on Gulf. Gulf smiled and kissed Bright before leaving, wearing a black hoodie to disguise himself.
When Gulf arrived at his cafe, he pulled down his hoodie, and memories came flooding back. The first time he saw Win, the first time he fought for Win, and the last time they were here.
"I'll get revenge for you, Win. I'll make sure of it," Gulf said, clenching his fist.
Gulf then took a screwdriver from the desk and carefully removed the tracker. He then placed the tracker on the robotic vacuum cleaner and switched on the robot. It would make it seem as if Gulf were walking around inside the cafe. Then, Gulf changed his clothes.
"Sorry, love, but I have to do it," Gulf said, leaving the place.
Before Gulf went to the promised place, he went to the bank and withdrew a large sum of money from his account. Then, he pulled out a file he had been hiding in his clothes. Gulf walked for a while before he reached a warehouse. The warehouse was located deep in the jungle. He slowly opened the door, and it was dark.
"Hello?" Gulf said, searching for a switch. Just then, the place lit up. Gulf turned around and saw the face he'd been searching for.
"Witaya," Gulf whispered.
"Hello, Gulf. It's a surprise to see you fall for a cheap trick," Witaya smirked.
Gulf then walked toward Witaya. He then threw the bag of money toward Witaya.
"Do you think I want that money?" Witaya smiled.
"I know you don't need it. But you wanted this," Gulf said, pulling out a file.
"That...!" Witaya stood up.
"The deed for the town," Gulf smirked.
"Take it from him!" Witaya commanded, and five of his men went to attack Gulf.
One by one, they went forward, but Gulf was able to evade their attacks. However, his lack of focus caused someone to punch Gulf in the stomach. He stumbled but composed himself again. One man punched Gulf on the cheek, sensing an opportunity. Gulf wiped the blood from his mouth and attacked the other. After a few minutes, Witaya's men lay on the ground. Another group came to attack Gulf, but then Gulf lifted the contract.
Gulf smirked before tearing the deed in front of Witaya. He then threw the torn paper toward Witaya.
"You Bitch!" Witaya yelled.
"With this, you won't be able to get the town because, without the deed, the town falls into the hands of the current leader of The Chatchada since the original owner is the late leader," Gulf smiled.
"You Bitch! How dare you!" Witaya pulled out a gun and pointed it toward Gulf.
"I might not be able to kill you, but seeing you suffer is enough," Gulf smirked and stumbled a bit as he received some earlier blows.
Gulf prepared himself for an impact before a gunshot was heard. But, nothing came toward him. He looked up and saw Witaya's hand bleeding, and the gun fell.
"What the hell?!" Witaya winced.
Then, the door opened up, showing Bright, who was fuming.
"You're dead," Bright said, running toward Witaya.
"Bright?!" Witaya's eyes widened.
Every one of Witaya's men went toward Bright, but they were met with Bright's men. The fight happened so fast.
Bright wanted to go to Gulf's side quickly, so he just shot at them. Gulf turned around on purpose so Bright could shoot them without him looking.
He turned round to see Witaya going to reach for his gun. Quickly, Gulf ran toward Witaya and kicked the gun.
"Like my lover told you. You're dead. So stay here and wait for your death,"
