Once we landed I woke up my brother from his nap and we got off the plane and got our stuff and found our grandma

"Ah there's my little favorite kids! "

She said in that sweet tone that made you feel like you would throw up if you listened to her for to long

"Hi grandma I'm so happy to see you!" "I am too Adam.. "

You watched your brother run up to her and gave her a big hug as she pinched his cheeks talking about how he grew so much since she last saw him as you walked over to her with a small smile on your face

"Hi grandma.. "

You said softly as you have her a hug

"Oh I'm so happy to see you both.. "

She said as she gave you a hug back it felt so freeing and soft unlike the hugs you would get from your mom they were cold pity hugs they never felt like this.

"okay let's get going don't wanna keep your grandad waiting do we?"

Your grandma said softly as your brother looked around the airport... After a while of walking and stopping at the bathroom 2 times because your brother didn't want to use the ones on the plane you made it to her car and you all started to drive off talking about the things you guys did how your friends we're doing school stuff and embarrassing your brother with a girl that he liked you made it back to her little home it was kind far off but it was filled with forests trees and it even had a pond so that made the trip a little more Bearable...

Once you got out of the car you said hello to your grandpa and he helped bring your stuff inside and in the guest room and set your stuff down you made a little game that calmed you down whenever you were in somewhere you didn't recognize you counted all the doors all the mirrors all the paintings all the beds all the closest

"4 doors, 16 mirrors, 24 paintings, 3 beds, 5 closests"

You mumbled under your breath as you left the house as you left with a book to read near the pond as soon as you got there you looked around in awe at the gorgeous scenery it was a round pond with a little Island in the middle with a big tree and a bridge across the pond helping someone get there you crossed the bridge and a at under the tree and read your book peacefully

And cut! Okay this is a little shorter then I would like but I'm having writers block and I'm having a lot of trouble with the grammar but it's okay I'm still really excited to do this and I don't wanna stop just yet and as always go drink some water, go for a walk, get some sleep, and go eat something!
