DRACO'S POV:

I'm sitting in the library reading while waiting for Maddison and Nott to be done with the study session

As I'm waiting I peek over to where they are sitting and see him with his hand on her cheek rubbing it with his thumb

She's smiling and laughing. What could he be saying that is so funny. I told Elwood I would try and not to get mad so I stay put.

I peek back over to see him kissing her hand. Okay now Im pissed. I stand up and walk past them and knock over Nott's Books by 'Accident'

"Oops" I say in a bitchy voice. "Is there a problem Malfoy?" Nott asks. "The only problem here is you" I complain

"What did I even do?" Nott asks me another question as he stands up. "Theo just leave it" Maddison says in her annoying soft voice pulling him back into his seat.

I just storm out of the library without another word.

Why did I get like this when another guy was with her? Why am I so affectionate to her in private and so mean to her in public?

Do I actually care about her?

Fuck.

No.

I hate her, I hate her for making me feel this way. Her soft voice, her plump lips, her beautiful green eyes, her nice figure, everything about her pisses me off for making me feel this way.

I hate Maddison Elwood.

MADDISON'S POV:

I watch as Malfoy storms out the library and sigh to myself. "Why is he such a dick all of a sudden?" Theo complains.

I just shrugged. "Just ignore him" I reassure him while ruffling his hair and with a soft smile of my lips.

"Hey I just combed my hair" he says dragging the laughing. "That sucks, but I like it fluffy" I say with a proud smile on my face.

After me and Theo got finished with studying I headed to the astronomy tower and he went to his dorm. On my way to the astronomy tower I noticed it was a full moon. I love full moons they are so beautiful.

I arrived at the astronomy tower and sat at the edge with my feet dangling off the end. I take a deep breath in and out. I start to sink into my thoughts.

Why was Malfoy doing this to me? Is he playing with me? Or is he genuinely interested in me?

Why?

Why me?

As I'm sitting there in my thoughts I hear footsteps from the stairs i don't even looks back to see who it is I don't really care either.

"Maddie, are you okay?" I hear Amelia's comforting voice say as she comes and sits next to me. "I'm fine, I'm just confused" I say as I look at Amy as she puts her arms around me and hugs me gently.

"About what?" She asks letting one of her arms fall from my body. Should I tell her about Malfoy? She doesn't really like him that much.

"Nothing much, most just the potions test tomorrow" I lie to her looking down at the ground from the tower. "Snape just loves seeing students struggling I guess" She giggles softly with a shrug.

"I guess so" I smile putting my arm around her. She leans her head on my shoulder and I put mine on her head. We sat in a comfortable silence for a minute or two.

"I don't know how you can sit up here is so dangerous, you could easily fall down" she breaks the silence. "It's very calming and soothing to me" I laugh softly.

I love Amy she knows just how to cheer me up
