Anya and Dale has been friends since grade school. Dale stood as the one who will scram away the gray in her skies. They are so close to the point that people around them would tease them as a couple, and even though Anya has feelings for Dale, she would always tell people they were just best FRIENDS. She hated that term, she hate that she's nothing but a friend to him.
For the sake of the friendship they built for years, she didn't confess to Dale and endured all the pain. But then, things took a wild turn. The friendship she protected for years was torn apart by the secret she was trying to keep from him.
How ironic that the one who serves as the ray of sunshine to her gray skies is the reason why her skies turned gray in the first place.
