Aidan smiles warmly as he walked down the open corridors with the breeze blowing over him, watching the staff below on the ground organise and build the final touches for the wedding and the reception tomorrow. He stretches his arms above him blissfully, walking through the mansion hallways looking for his love after coming back from his rehearsal. (y/n)'s best friend and her fiance were extremely kind and hospitable, even asking him if he would play for them during the reception party when they heard about him being a musician.
He was ecstatic to play for a crowd, saying yes and declining the money they wanted to pay him. He was doing this for the fun of it and to surprise his love. He couldn't wait to see her reaction to him playing with the band tomorrow. He walks past a group of giggling girls and knocks on the door they came out from, hoping to find his love in there and he does when he peeks his head in to find her on a couch with her best friend. There were numerous girls and bridesmaids all surrounding the to-be bride and bride of honour-which was his lovely girlfriend of course-music playing loudly while they chatted and celebrated together.
"Aidan!" he smiles when his love turns around on the couch to see him and he walks into the room to sit down next to her on the couch, him noticing how her mood instantly lifted when he was there and he was a tad worried. "You're here!" she beams seeing him and he kisses her cheek sweetly, smiling down at her and tapping her chin up affectionately.
"Of course, I would be. Someone said you were looking for me. I'm sorry I couldn't come earlier." he settles down next to her, pulling her close but he frowns lightly when her stiff body relaxes in his arms.
"No, that's ok. You're here now."
"What's wrong lovely?" Aidan whispers to (y/n) seeing how she stuck close to him and not with the other girls, watching how her best friend was trying her best to talk to everyone. "You're not talking to your friend?"
"No, I am! It's just she's a little busy. And I don't know anyone here..." she mumbles softly, giving a wry smile to a girl that walks past the couple. "She's trying her best... she's keeping me company but then she has to keep these other girls company too. I just feel odd and out of place..."
"Do you want to go back to our room?" the brunette asks, squeezing his love affectionately and she shrugs.
"I don't want to leave... it might look bad on her..."
"I'm here. Whatever you want to do, I'm here with you." he smiles down at her and she eases. "Tell me about your day. What did you do?" he wanted her to be comfortable, sparking up a conversation to keep her busy. Plus he was curious about the bandages that were covering the entirety of her arms.
"We did our henna today! All the girls here got their arms done and I did too! And as a ritual we do, I have your name somewhere written in the design. Let's see if you can find it tomorrow." his love smiles at him cheekily and he pinches her nose softly in response.
"You're on lovely. I'm going to find my name on your body no matter what. Even if I have to etch it into you myself." he whispers the last sentence to her and earns a heavy blush on her cheeks, pressing multiple kisses on her cheeks with a chuckle.
"Shut up..."
"And you did your ankles too." Aidan muses, tickling (y/n)'s feet and she yelps as she pulls away, a blush on her cheeks when he pulls her feet up to lay over his lap.
"Careful, the henna is still wet."
"But why the cloth around her arms?"
"Well, it's adhesive tape and gauze to keep the henna in place. Also to keep it dry."
