After a good night's sleep, Damian woke up to see that Marinette was still sleeping beside him. While washing up in the bathroom, Damian received a call from John Kent informing him that he saw someone who looked just like Lila boarding a bus to Gotham City.
After thanking him and hanging up the phone, Damian became nervous he knew she wanted to ruin Marinette's chances with him and knew he had to stop her.
The only question was how all he knew was that Lila was making her way to Gotham City. Who knows what devious plans she had thought while on the bus? She was possibly she was planning on killing Marinette.
'I can't let that happen!' Damian thought to himself, as he returned to the bed and gently brushed some loose hair from Mari's face.
Letting out a sigh, Damian left the bedroom and entered his father's study room. Where Bruce was sitting at his desk looking over some paperwork, "What's the matter Damian is everything ok?" Bruce asked his son.
"Well, John just sent me a call informing me that Lila is making her way to our city, and she has nothing but negative thoughts towards Mari." Damian informed his father.
"Hmm, then we'll have to help protect her. I'll have Orphan, Red-Hood, and I watch you two from a distance to ensure her safety, ok?" Bruce asked.
Damian, and he agreed without any hesitation. After having a quick breakfast, Damian returned to the bedroom to find Marinette was nowhere to be seen.
Not wanting anything to happen to his love, Damian began to panic, but once he heard the shower water running a saw and heard Marinette singing, he calmed down.
As soon as she came out of the shower and he confirmed with her that she was dressed, he wrapped his arms around her tightly. "Damian, what is all this about?" Marinette asked, sounding a bit worried and confused at the same time.
"Don't worry, my angel. I'm just so happy to see you." Damian gleemed, throwing her off topic.
While they were out in the streets, Damian saw out of the corner of his eye Lila staring at him and Mari with daggers in her eyes. He then looked around for His father, Orphan, and Red-Hood, but their was no sign of them.
When he looked back at Lila, she was gone. As he turned to Mari, Lila was holding her by the throat. "Marinette!" Damian shouted, "Not one more step or I'll kill her!" Lila growled.
Realizing he couldn't do anything, a thought popped into his head "Marinette listen to me remember when grandfather made us one?" He asked as tears ran down his cheek. "Yes, I do," Marinette responded as she began to cry.
"Then let's unleash our true powers, and I know just the song to help us," Damian said as he began playing a song on his phone.
Damian: You with the sad eyes don't be discouraged oh, I realize it's hard to take courage in a world full of people you can lose sight of it all the darkness inside you can make you feel so small.
Damian: Show me a smile, then don't be unhappy. I can't remember when

Once in their true forms, Marinette and Damian took down Lila, and after about ten minutes, the police came and sent her to Arkahm Asylum. Once they were fully safe, Damian searched for the others and found that Lila had sedated them 'no wonder they never cane to help us' Damian thought to himself.
With Marinette's help, the two of them flew the others back to Wayne Manor. Once Bruce, Orphan, and Red-Hood were safely in their own room, Marinette and Damian went to their room to get some much needed sleep.
