By the time Brendan had woken up, it was three in the morning. From the recent exploring he had, his brain was too hyped up to shut down.

It seemed too good and unreal to be true, but after all, he still couldn't get over the fact that he had met the two O.G. members of the Fairy Council. It was almost a dream come true.

The word magic still lingered in his mind. He knew it was impossible to believe, but the longer he thought about it, the more it started to make sense.

The overall result only led him to a surprise. Does that mean the fairy-tale world is real?

But there was so much more that he didn't know, and now, he only had one idea in mind.

Sneaking quietly across the room, he made sure not to awake Dexter. If exploring wasn't enough, he would look for more clues.

The favourite author that he had always looked up to was getting more mysterious by the moment.

Brendan regretted being so rebellious.

Just a few hours ago, he had witnessed through the strangest things possible. He had to constantly remind himself that magic does exist, following along with the fact that all that happened was real.

As he stepped in the world of Classic Literatures, he realised he was stepping inside of a model of Captain Hook's ship.

The world of Neverland fitted right in the category for the Lost Boys. There were pits of slingshots games and digital climbing walls. Even the fairy lights wrapping around the closed shops represented the farewells of Tinker Bell.

As he walked around, one of the floorboards was flipped open. Suddenly, he was so thankful he peered in.

If I could find the clues, maybe I could find the entrance to the fairy-tale world.

Alright, focus Brendan. He reminded himself. No more distractions.

" Mary," a dark voice whispered. " Is it just me or do I see that?"

Whirling around, Brendan realized someone was shifting in the shadows. As if he hadn't experienced enough surprises today, he still wondering if it was another alive statue.

Another voice said." You're not being delusional, I see him too!"

As there was a sudden shift in the vibe, the room suddenly turned dark. Brendan could feel the tension creeping towards him.

Switching on his phone flashlight, he armed himself with protection before anything could touch him. He felt like he was in a survival game which he could be killed in any second.

" Whoever you are," He crept closer. " Show yourself!"

Before he could tell what's happening, a light beamed up the entire sanctuary of Captain Hook's ship. As the three figures crept closer, he noticed how familiar they seemed.

A sudden realisation hit him as he realised Captain Hook, the Queen of Hearts and the Wicked Witch of the West were staring down at him. From the three villains who always gave him chills when he grew up reading, he never knew how terrifying they were in real life.

Captain Hook smirked at him. " Oh Mary, it's just a child. I thought it was the Bailey twins!"

The three villains crackled miraculously at the sight of him as he scrambled to his feet. Referring to Emerelda's last words, this couldn't possibly be another trick or spell Conner Bailey had cast, right?

" Don't you dare come closer!" He fidgeted nervously. "I'll set you on fire!"

" We're not going to hurt you." The Wicked Witch of the West said. " It's rude to not give our thanks when you granted us the gift of life."

Brendan was about to question when he noticed something flickering on his hands. As he peered closer, he realized it was purple flames. Screaming and trying his best to get rid of it, he only came to understand he was producing it.

The Queen of Hearts smiled. " You, child, had granted us the dark curse. There's no more simple explanation than magic."

The three villains exchanged proud looks between each other like they could read each other's minds. As if they already had a plan in their mind, they quickly zoomed off outside.

As if someone had crumbled up his childhood and threw it away in a second, Fairytaletopia had never looked so broken. The stories that he grew up with didn't even look recognisable anymore.

The Wicked Witch of the West crackled. " This is going to be fun. You know for once, the Bailey twins won't be around to stop people like us."

The team shared a villainous laugh.

" I can't wait to chop off some heads." The Queen of Hearts added. " It would be a great collection to my pile."

Captain Hook stretched his arms like he had just reborn. " Damn that boy." He grunted. " Another joke about hands, I would have grasped my hook out of him. Without Peter Pan around, I have never felt so refreshed."

The villains nodded to come to an agreement. After getting defeated by the heroes from the last series, coming back alive was like entering a brand new body.

A sudden realisation hit him in the gut. The Classic Literature villains weren't just planning to destroy the theme park. Conquering the Otherworld was also in their top option.

This wasn't new at all, instead, history was repeating itself.

What have I done?
