A/N: This is entirely based of a story I think y'all need to check out! It's based of the story "Life in Smallville" - a Supergirl x Male Reader story and it's probably one of the best ones I've read up and it's still getting updated with new chapters and such.

Shoutout to the fellow Author BaguetteManOfficial for making "Life in Smallville", he's very talented at what he does.

Also, this spinoff takes place a little bit in the future, more like a year later at least, where Y/N is settled more into the new space he and Kara moved into with their built house on a farm, and feeling much more comfortable than he was before, especially around the love of his life, that being Kara Zor-El of course.

I have also been given permission to add a few scenes that are in Life in Smallville, detailing flashback events that is part of the story by BaguetteManOfficial

In the bedroom that belonged to two individuals, the boy yawned as his eyes opened up slowly at the ceiling after getting some shut eye before checking his phone for the time; it was only 4pm on a Friday, he worked mostly all morning on a lovely farm in Smallville he shared with the love of his life... In the very same building she built, mostly by herself, with some help of course.

"Babe?!" he shouts for her but no answer, he assumed she would hear him with her super-hearing but... Nothing.

He notices a note on his bedside table, he remembered the last time he had notes around him, especially with a certain 'Frosty Personality' living inside him.

He didn't waste time to pick up the note, but his eyes dwindled at the lovely message from his girlfriend.

"Out to fight crime sleepy head, something came up. Left you some strawberries in the fridge for when you wake up! PS: Love from Kara, be back soon! x x x" he chuckled at the heartfelt message, she even drew a little S on a shield glyph on the note.

It was a surprise to some locals in Smallville that the Heroine Supergirl has a boyfriend and she's been with him for a year now, that boyfriend was Y/N Lang, son of Lana Lang.

He had a feeling in him that wanted Kara to be safe, other than fight crime and other world altering events as of late, he worried for her so much... It wasn't like he had a dream where she... Died right?

Perhaps he wasn't wrong, he chose to hide it, even from her... She found it... Touching for him to care so much about her, even going as far to not let go of her when superhero business popped up, it was a strange feeling...

He yawns once more and gets out the covers of his bedside, eyeing Streaky the Supercat who was deeply sleeping in his bed, on his back with the paws in the air, he silently chuckled at how cute he slept before walking toward the living room of the house to pour himself a drink and take the remaining strawberries out from the fridge, passing by some photos of him on the fridge itself, his family along with his girlfriend's family and the few friends she still had, Nia Nal, Cassandra Cane and a few others she made along the way, one of them being Imra Ardeen who called herself Saturn Girl, coming from a fractured timeline within the timestream.

He always thought it was stupid to have many photos on the fridge but he can't help but break a smile, everyday he didn't realize he would blankly look at the photos from over the past year, his eyes laid upon one particular photo, one with him and the girl, showing their love for each other, a photo Y/N secretly cherishes.
