Sean waited for Jake to answer him.
"I-..." Jake can't seem to get the words out. He mutters something, but it's inaudible.
"Jake. I won't judge you," Sean says softly. He lightly takes Jake hand and grasps it firmly.
"Yes... I do. I like you, I like you a lot," Jake mumbles.
"That's the only thing I needed for an answer," Sean says with a warm smile.
"What do you-..?" Jake is cut off by Sean, who hugs him tightly. Jake hesitantly hugs back, patting Sean's shoulder.
"Jake, I want you to know, I liked you from the first time you stepped into the music room. I thought you were really cool," Sean says calmly.
"I- y- you did..?" Jake asks, his eyes wide.
"Yeah, I did. Truly, cross my heart," Sean says, his voice quiet and soft.
"The- there's no way..-!" Jake replies, shocked.
"Honestly, I wasn't going to tell you. I thought... I thought you liked Daisy," Sean chuckles.
"Oh, not really. The day I joined the music club, I saw her kissing Sadie. Plus, even though it took a while to get over her, you were kind of always there in the corner of my brain," Jake answers, laughing for a moment. Sean pulls back from the hug and searches Jake's face.
Jake can't take it anymore, he stands on his toes, being shorter than the senior, and kisses him on the lips, just long enough to catch Sean off guard at first before he kisses back for a few seconds.
Jake pulls away first, his face red.
"I'm- uh- sorry," Jake mutters. Sean gets closer to Jake's level and kisses his cheek.
"You're perfectly fine, Jake," he says. His cheeks were a light pink, but he had a gentle smile playing on his face.
"What does this... mean for us?" Jake asks quietly. Sean thinks for a moment.
"We should think on that for a while before deciding, I think. Be rational about this stuff, you know? Be sure we're ready to commit to anything," Sean responds, standing back up properly and stuffing his hands in his sweatpants pockets.
"Yeah, that's- that's the smart thing to do," Jake agrees, nodding his head a bit.
"We should- uhm- probably head back to practice before they end without us." Sean says after a few moments. Jake nods in agreement and walks with Sean back toward the Music room. His blushing has calmed down a bit, now it's just a faint pink.
"Welcome back, gays," Milly says when the two walk back into the room. She was leaning against Hailey, who was too busy staring at her phone to push Milly off.
"Shush," Sean says, headed over to his computer. He resumes what he was doing earlier as if nothing happened. Jake sits back down at his seat at the table. Milo still had his phone, and it seemed he was content playing like Candy Crush or something. Jake draws a small heart abs then closes his lyrics book.At home with Milo & Jake
"So~, I can have Daisy now~?" Milo asks teasingly.
"She's not into little kids, twerp," Jake responds. They were sitting in the living room. Milo was playing video games and Jake was on his phone.
"Well it looks like your type is older guys," Milo says after a few moments.
"I- what-" Jake stares at his brother.
"Yeah. The DJ guy. He's a senior right? So he's two years older than you," Milo was still playing his video game.
"Milo shut up- I swear to the gods above-,"
"I'll tell mom when she gets home,"
"No-!!" Jake shouts, tossing his Phoenix on the floor and jerking forward.
"Damn," Milo says, staring at his brother.
Jake sighs, picks his phone up, and stands up.
"Turn the video games off in twenty minutes. I'll be in my room," Jake mumbles, getting up and walking away.
"Gay ass motherfucker," Milo says under his breath, laughing.
"I heard that!!" Jake yells.
