Y/N's P.O.VI stood in my daughter's room, helping her get dressed. She's old enough to pick her own clothes and have in input on what she wants to wear. The hard part is that she's indecisive like her mother.
It's also hard because she's filled with energy since I'm about to take her to Disneyland. That's the only thing she cares about right now. She'd probably wear pajamas right now if she could.
"How about this one?" I ask Riley, picking out something simple.
Finally she agreed on that. I finished getting her ready and prepared for us to leave. I was ready hours ago.
"You're leaving now?" Chloe asked.
"Yeah. You still going to the studio?" I reply.
"Yeah, I'm about to head out now. I'll see you later. Have fun princess." Chloe said kissing me and smiling towards Riley.
From here, we'd be going to pick up Maddy. We'd be doing a little family thing. It was her idea to do this. I agreed since Riley has been behaving.
I made sure she was buckled properly into her booster seat before driving off to Maddy's house. Our houses were like fifteen minutes apart. I live in a whole new house. But that old one we stayed in together, she still has. I gave it to her.
Every time I come here, to pick up or drop off my daughter, I get all those memories. So much shit happened here. It's hard to not remember them.
I walked into her house with Riley, and to my surprise she was ready. If she's still the same, she would normally take hours.
"You look nice." I compliment.
"Thank you." Maddy smiled, picking up Riley.
She really did look nice. It's good to see her when she's at her best. She made sure she had what she needed before we left the house. I opened up the the car door for her and put Riley back into her seat.
Disneyland was like thirty to forty minutes away. It was a quite enjoyable ride. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss moments like this with her. It was a lot going on at that time yet everything was so simple.
Riley fell asleep during the car ride but once she woke up, it's like she was never tired. Her eyes lit up looking at the huge park. Seeing my baby happy made me happy on its own. Everything I do is for her.
For our protection we had security. We entered the crowded park as Maddy held Riley. She's capable of walking but I ain't gon' say nothing. I be carrying her as well.
Much like I expected, there was people that noticed us and started taking pictures. I didn't mind it, we're celebrities. This shit happens and as long as our security is doing their job then we cool.
We let Riley decide on where to go. I grabbed on to Maddy's hand so we could stay together through these clusters of people. She looked over at me but didn't say anything.
We got on a few rides, let Riley take pictures with the mascots and stuff like that. I was having a really good time. As much as I shouldn't I couldn't help but think if this is what it would've been like if I did end up marrying Maddy.
When we had that conversation about why she said no, it made me realize how much I actually needed to hear it. That talk meant more to me than I could ever imagine.
It also means that if we just communicated then we could've worked it out. Since that talk a part of me wishes we would've worked it out. No disrespect to Chloe, cause I do love her, but she's been acting strange lately.
