synopsis : despite being in a secret
relationship with Olivia, it feels
as if she's loosing interest."are you still up for seeing that new movie tonight?" You asked Olivia, placing your cup in the sink as you turned on the faucet in order to wash the dish , as Olivia stood against the table — consumed by her telephone.
"Oh, right" Olivia began, looking up from her phone for a quick second. "Im sort of over booked, my friends and I decided to see it tonight to"
You lowly exhaled at her words, of course she'd forgotten and rescheduled with her friends — you couldn't be too upset with her. After all her schedule was a bit busy, though part of you wished you could see this movie together.
"well, who are you going with?" You asked, turning the faucet off as you turned to face her."Well I can't just bail on my friends like that, it wouldn't be fair to them" She stated, which upset you quite a bit — the fact she didn't mind bailing on you for her friends.
"But we had plans to see that movie first" You defended, giving reason as to why she should be seeing it with you — her girlfriend.
"I don't see why it matters, as far as they're concerned and know of we're just friends. It'd be odd of me to end my plans with them for you." Olivia added , which was one of her normal go to's in an argument. 'It won't matter because we're just friends to them'.
The term didn't bother you — seeing as it was false, but the way Olivia acted as if it was true hurt sometimes.
Exhaling, you bit your tongue in order to keep the disagreement from turning into an argument — so you simply nodded and agreed. "it's whatever, have fun tonight"
"Thanks, we will" Olivia offered you a quick smile as she exited the kitchen, off to do whatever she planned on doing.

"why are you looking at me like that?" Olivia asked, occasionally catching you giving her the meanest looks whenever you walked passed her throughout the day.
"What do you mean?" You asked, knowing exactly what she meant. Feeling upset about the fact it obvious she had absolutely no intention of going to the movie with you instead of her friends
"That look, you've been giving me the meanest look all day when i've done nothing to you" Olivia defended, crossing her arms as she turned to look at you.
"You've done nothing?" You asked, in more of a mocking tone — making it obvious she did so something.
"No way you're pissed off about me going to see a simple movie with my friends." Olivia scoffed, shaking her head — feeling as if you were being petty.
"I wouldn't be pissed off if we hadn't made plans to see the movie first , Olivia. we made those plans last week" You reminded her.
"Well I forgot about them, it's not that big of a deal. we can always see another one. I'm not canceling plans with my friends"
"I'm not asking you to. I'm asking you to remember when you plan things with your girlfriend Olivia!" You exclaimed, growing annoyed.
"Okay and I get that! Sorry I don't remember every single thing, I have other things to worry about!" Olivia yelled in return, throwing her phone down on the couch.
"And i get that, but this was one simple date that we both marked a calendars for a week ahead, Olivia!""I already apologized, what more do you want from me. I already told you i'm not canceling those plans with my friends." Olivia replied.
"Okay, I know! you already said that! I'm just asking you to at least try and remember certain things." You added, feeling as Olivia was slowly falling out of love with you — the effort she once put into the relationship wasn't really there."Can you accept the fact that I have more important things to worry about besides you." Olivia raised her voice in return.
"And I get that, everyone's busy, especially you. But i'm asking you to remember the small things."
"I try to! You don't take up one hundred percent of my brain you know. I have so much stuff going on right now. I can't believe you'd bring something up like this right now"
"my mistake on trying to fix the problem in our relationship." You scoffed aloud.
"It isn't a problem, it's your problem. I need a break from this, i'll be back when the movies over." Was all the brunette girl said, as she picked up her car keys and walked out of the apartment — leaving you with no room to say another word.

That afternoon Olivia left, you began packing your belongings away into boxes — preparing yourself to move out, and hopefully end things with Olivia.
The spark you once felt for her was still there, but now it felt as if she was too busy to have you in her life — let alone with some of the things she said in the argument previously.
As much as you loved Olivia wholeheartedly, you decided to do what was best for the both of you. Best for your mental health and for hers.
She wouldn't have to worry about remembering things about you or when she planned something with you, and you wouldn't have to bare down the stress of your secret relationship and feeling unloved.
You packed everything in the apartment that belonged to you and not a single thing was packed that belonged to Olivia — maybe a few belongings she had given you in the past.
Continuing to pack, you cleaned out your side of the closet — gathering all your shoes and everything else in the space and placing them in a box, leaving nothing behind of yours so Olivia could remember you.
Placing your last few boxes in the trunk, you began to think of how you were supposed to tell Olivia you we're leaving. We're you just supposed to go or give her a heart felt goodbye.
Giving it some thought, you decided it would be best to just go. As much as you loved Olivia and cared about her, you knew that your goodbye would cause you to stay with her.
So as much as it hurt, you said a final goodbye to the place you'd called home for the past six months, a place that you had made so many memories with Olivia in a little amount of time.
Exiting the building — you walked to your car and entered the vehicle, leaving Olivia and any memories you made with her behind. And if she really needed you or needed to contact you — she was able to.
