"Guys," Flaire called out, "seems like I have forgotten to show you something."
They were about to leave their house when Flaire had just happen to call them.
"If you're talking about the coat, we get it." Cael teased. Adiere averted his direction in order for Flaire not see that he was stifling his laughter. They continued to walk, leaving Flaire behind. She was glaring at them.
"Aha, very funny." Flaire answered, coldly. "Fine, go on then. But don't come running to me crying that you've haven't found the walled city-"
They stopped.
"What did you say?" Cael asked, he turned to faced her. She rose an eyebrow at the sight of his reaction, her arms crossed.
"Hm. I was right." she sneered.
"Flaire, what are you trying to say exactly?" Adiere added.
"I'm just saying that I just happen to have the means to get us through this journey-" she shrugged. Her expression made Cael's blood boil.
"Is that so?" he shouted back. Cael started to walk toward Flaire, his hands clenched into fists. Adiere tried to stop him but just brushed him off. Flaire on the other wasn't unfazed when he saw Cael's enraged look, she even was ready to face him off.
"That is definitely it, Cael." she curtly replied. She frowned looking at him. Cael tried to scare her off. His face was just inches from hers. He tried to make her feel inferior by towering over her with his glare. But there was no effect on Flaire instead she even drew her face forward, matching his expression. Adiere from afar could somehow see sparks fly between them. There was this tension that would always appear when they go head-to-head like this.
"Are you trying to scare me, huh, little girl?!" he snapped. He pushed her back.
Flaire wobbled a bit.
"And what if I am, huh?!" Flaire returned the favor. He pushed him much harder this time. Cael wasn't able to keep his balance, he fell down to the ground. Flaire had a smirk on her lips. Cael glared at her, stood up again and took her forcely by the collar. Flaire was hauled off from the ground, she choked. Adiere watched them with a horrified look on his face.
"You'll be sorry you said that," he growled. A shadow casted over his face making him look terrifying. Meanwhile Flaire tried to break free from his grasp, her hand tried to reach him. Cael had somehow loved to see her struggle. Hence a smirk on his face. Flaire gritted her teeth and looked at him, his eyes were different. It wasn't those caramel colored eyes but there happen to be some sort of a red color in it. He wasn't acting like himself. Flaire had realized that she would be in trouble if this continued. Searching for a weakness somewhere in Cael's body, she remembered something about boys.
"When a man happens to take hold of you, Flaire. Kick him right in the lap."Dirhun said.
She smirked when she remembered what Dirhun said. Cael was puzzled with her expression. She raised her leg that was closer to where Cael's weakness was with Cael unaware of what's going to follow.
