After they had finished eating, Flaire went outside to catch some fresh morning air. Stretching her arms and letting out a yawn, she looked at the sky and appreciated its color. She got an idea to rest under the “old grandfather tree”, as she would call it. She hummed as she went at the back of the shop where there were a bunch of trees with a small winding path. She walked for a few moments before reaching an open, green field. And there, a large, oak tree stood in solitary. Overlooking the green plain, were Blue Mountains of the South and a lake. From afar she could see two persons, and she knew that those two would be likely there. Knowing that, a scare came into mind. She tiptoed towards them, cautious that she would not step on some twigs. She readied herself, arms bent and hands at a ready to reach for them when—
“It won’t work.” Adiere bluntly said.
The faces took Flaire aback with no reactions coming whatsoever from what was or what should have happened.
She, who was determined, became disappointed.
“No fun.” she said, dejected. She crouched down and started to pull the grass with an annoyed face.
There was silence. Neither Flaire, Adiere and Cael talked. They were in an awkward situation, she knew it. And the reason was probably because of what happened a while ago. Flaire sighed and stood, “Would you just stop hiding what you feel!!! If you want to shout then shout! If you want to scream then scream! You won’t go anywhere with just hiding it!!!” she suddenly exclaimed.
Adiere and Cael was surprised while Flaire was panting. Her face all red, she knew what she did was embarrassing but nonetheless, they needed it. She thought about it and was not wrong about it.
“Flaire…”Adiere said. Cael stood and touched her head. Flaire who was trying to hide her embarrassment, looked up at the smiling face of her friend.
“We got it, Flaire.” Cael added. Flaire tried as to hide it as much as she can, but the relief she felt was far too great. She gave him a hug. Cael grinned. Adiere rose and stood beside her and patted her head. The comforting presence made her tears run, she was reassured with these two persons that she loved. Her friends and her family.
“You really are a crybaby,” Cael remarked.
Flaire let go and wiped her tears and grinned. Adiere shook his head and messed up her hair, “I agree.”
“Heh, guess I am.”
Suddenly, altogether they laughed and messed around with each other. With smiles on their faces, they fell and lied on the ground. They were breathing heavily as they looked at the sky.
“Hey, Flaire?” Adiere began.
“Hm?”she responded.
“Thanks for being worried about us.” He continued.
“Likewise.” Cael added.
“Your welcome.”
“Which reminds me, you’re not familiar with the festivals right?”
“Cael’s right, this would be the best time to ask us regarding those festivals.”
“Maybe,” Flaire was silent before she spoke again. “Alright, what is that festival that you always go together, as a family?”
“The festival that we usually go to, would be the Lue More Festival.”
“Lue More festival or in native tongue the Festival of the Moon.” Cael added, with a grin.
“The other two we don’t know.” Adiere added.
“Oh, so what happens?” Flaire asked.
