(Not really a happy quote but relatable...)
Happy Reading guys!
Also I'll be gone for about a week, as I'm going on a camping trip. First one in five years!! And I'm stoked. So the next chapter is going to take a little longer to come out. (We're going for a week)
But I hope you enjoy this one :D

Even if it is short again. I'm so sorry about that! I don't mean too, but I'm on a time crunch right now. I'm packing and writing at the same time haha. Then we gotta load the quads up too.

"Where is he, Sire?" Koda asked nervously.

Ratchet's holoform fizzled away and the medic transformed. Carefully he picked Koda up. As they would so many years ago.

The medic would offer her his index digit to hold onto then he would set her down on his other servo and let her lean against his chassis. They did that during this moment, Koda leaving her wheelchair behind. Which surprised the onlooking weapons specialist.

"It would be best to show you," Ratchet said slowly as he walked out of the navigation's room. Koda fiddled with her hands nervously. What had confused her was why the other Autobots acted like nothing happened...

"Why were the others acting like that?"

......

"Sire?" Koda asked quietly. The sound of the medic's pedesteps was the only thing that sounded through the hallway. As Koda looked around she noticed that the hall was darkening a bit. The lighting goes from fairly bright to a calm orangey yellow. But it's a slow transition.

"They didn't want you to worry," Ratchet finally replied as he took a left and walked into a room. From the looks of it, it was the medbay. Which made Koda worry more than she was.

As they walked past some rooms a dark skinny but tall figure walked out of one. Two lavender colored optics looked at them. They widened a bit when they looked down at Koda.

At that moment Koda's heart rate spiked. Ratchet noticed and quickly went into action to calm her down, "Soundwave joined us after we left Earth. He was the one who warned us of Tarn. You do not have to worry."

"I apologize for the scare, I meant no harm," Soundwave said as he walked up to the two.

"You aren't using voice recordings?" Koda asked, slightly shook.

The communications officer shook his helm, "Not around Optimus or Ratchet. Before the war we were good friends, and I trust them. And from what they have told me about you, I can trust you as well." For seeming like a big intimidating mech, Soundwave had a rather soft voice. It was strange...

As the two mechs began walking again and got into a bit more of a brighter light, Koda saw that Soundwave's visor was set down on a nearby table. She looked up at him and saw his face. A small smile made its way onto her as she saw the relaxed expression on the dark mechs faceplate.

"How are his vitals?" Ratchet asked slowly, they came up the door where Soundwave had come from.

"Improving. He was awake when I went in," Soundwave replied. He looked down at Koda, "Have you reopened your bond with him yet?"

"No, the last time it was open was the day before you guys left," Koda was now both confused and worried.

"I would keep it closed for the time being Koda, just so you aren't hurting," Soundwave advised. His servo carefully opened the door and he walked in, stepping aside to let Ratchet in.
