Harry's POV

It has been two days since Nora went missing. The entire town, actually the entire state has been on a massive search party for her. Her last known location was at my party.

Nobody knows about what we did, running off into the forest with the dead body. I would go to jail for the rest of my life, and she would as well.

She doesn't deserve a life like that.

Of course I feel guilty; I shouldn't have kissed her or brought her into this whole mess. I was just trying to protect her from Alex. I know exactly what he was trying to do with her, I've known him my whole life and he was an absolute prick.

But now it's two days later and she's still gone. I haven't been able to focus on anything. I can't eat, I can't sleep, and I haven't shown up to school.

Where the hell is she?

I sat down on my parents couch and turned on the tv which displayed the local news channel. Of course it was a news story about Nora. Her best friend Naomi spoke.

"If you have seen or heard from her, please, we are begging you to come forward."

"Nora means the absolute world to me and everyone else in this town. If you know about her whereabouts, do the right thing and contact the police immediately." She spoke into the microphone as a tear rolled down her left cheek.

I quickly switched the station, trying to get my mind off of this whole mess.

"The police have been here multiple times in the last two days, son." My dad spoke as he walked into the room from behind me.

I froze, not turning back to face him.

"If you know something, I need you to speak up. If you did something, I need you to speak up." My father demanded as he rested his palms on the couch behind me, hovering over the top of me.

I shook my head, "I already told you that I don't know anything. I barely even know the girl. All I know is that we go to the same school and that's it."

He sighed and leaned down, moving his hand under my chin and tilting it up so I was forced to look him in the eye.

"Look me in the eyes and tell me you don't know anything. Square in the eye." He muttered, staring me down.

My heart began to pound and my breathing picked up pace.

"I know nothing." I whispered, looking him in the eyes.

He lifted my chin up higher, forcing me to lift up out of my seat a bit. "Tell me the truth!" He yelled, spitting into my face.

"I know nothing!" I screamed, my face growing red with anger.

My father slapped me across the face with his free hand, still holding onto my chin. "You're a fucking liar! I saw you leave with her at your little party. What the fuck did you do, Harry!?"

I flinched at the sting of his hand across my face, "Fuck! I killed someone! I fucking killed someone, Dad!" I admitted, not wanting to feel the wrath of his palm again.

Immediately, the tears started strolling down my face and they wouldn't stop. The disgusted and frozen white look on his face made me feel even worse. The way the shape of his eyes changed at the word, "kill" made my entire body sting.

I hope and pray no one ever looks at me like that ever again.

He let go of my chin and walked away, his palms in his face. "You killed the girl? What the hell were you thinking!?" He screamed, pacing the room.
