Time wasn't on my side.
I could hear my watch ticking in time with my heartbeat. The oxygen tanks would run out in ten minutes.
7 minutes... I could feel the adrenaline running through my veins as the oxygen tanks reached a very dangerous low. 3 minutes felt like 3 seconds.
5 minutes... As dizziness reached my head I could feel my stomachs lurch forward and my hands become slick with sweat. Sharp short breaths escaped my mouth, finding it hard to savour oxygen.
2 minutes... My heart felt like a time bomb set into motion, like it was destined to explode.
The space station was over a kilometre away. 1 sickly bar left on the oxygen tank.
My breaths became ragged as I started to feel nautical.
1 minute... Was this the end.
