Boiling waters

Tangle's POV.

It was a normal day at the office, it's always normal or just boring in general. Well.. As a hard working business woman I'm always busy with paperwork and that boring shit, but it's my job and I gotta do it.

When I got to go to the meetings today, it was the same as before about money and building factories.. During the meeting one of the higher ups started talking about the toxic waste, they have been throwing into the sea, to be honest.. I fucking hate that.

Throwing toxic waste into the sea, that's so messed up, the sea creatures dying slowly dying from it.. I feel bad and I want to speak up about it but.. I can't and I would most likely get killed or be imprisoned, I would rather be sent to prison but.. Still it's bad.

After The stupid long meeting, I went back to my office, tired I wanted to go home already.

There was a knock on the door

"Come in!" The person who knocked came in, it was my pal tails, we have been friends for years, he came in with some reports "sorry to bother you tangle, but people have been complaining about the water in the bay being to hot?" Said the fox in a confused tone.

Too hot? What.. That doesn't make any sense, "what? What do you mean too hot? It was fine yesterday and day before that?" I said with an confused look.

The fox would speak after "i-i Don't understand this, the bay is boiling hot! Like it's became dangerous to even get in the water tangle.." He said while looking at me with an worried look.

I'm starting to worry about this.. Maybe it's the toxic waste? That could be the reason but I don't think anyone would believe me on that, ugh! Why is this hard to deal with!?. "Alright, I'll get in contact with the heads and talk to them about this issue bud" I said while taking the reports from tails.

Tails looked at me with a worried and scared look, even though he's working here, he's still young and I understand why he's afraid, "don't worry tails, we'll be fine understand?" I said with an soft voice, the fox smiled and nodded, he would then walk out the room.

Hhh.. I would look at the reports, this is so weird?? What's wrong with this planet and the people in it, out of anger I threw the reports into the trash can and looked outside the window while frowning in distress.

"I fucking hate this" I muttered, "I should probably check in with the rest, they prob—" I was cut off by someone kicking the door open, and an annoying skunk came inside, great another thing to piss me off.  "Hello tangle wangle!" Said the skunk in an annoying voice. He obviously wants to bother me for no reason again.

I sighed in annoyance, "What do you want, rough??" I asked while I looked at my desk avoiding eye contact, "Wellll, I came to see how my  favorite lemur is doing!" I let out a slight growl and gave him an angry stare.

"I don't care,just tell me what the fuck do you want, I'm not in the mood right now" I wasn't trying to yell because, I have been feeling sick lately and I don't want to risk my own throat right now. "Jeez! Fine! I want you to help me get le-" I interrupted him and said "fuck off."

I'm NOT dealing with that bullshit today, nope nope. Me and HIM, would argue for about 15 minutes? It completely wasted my time! I'm so mad at him, I wish I was able to beat his stupid ass. Why should I be bothered, I'm only trying to fucking live my stupid fucking life.

I should probably calm down, I don't know break something again, paying for it was a pain in my tail.

And then everything started to shake.

"Hu— what in the sweet mango!?" Is there a earthquake?? But there wasn't supposed to be an earthquake until next Month—! WHAT'S GOING ON!?

It's no longer tangle's POV

As the earthquake continued somewhere near a beach, all signs of life in the water would start floating up to the surface, as the water boiled.

It looked like something was swimming in that boiling water but how?, whatever it was it didn't reavel itself to the surface.

Loud growls and sobs could be heard for miles, as the sounds of sorrow and hopelessness bleeds into the ears of poor souls. It echoed in the souls minds as they started to feel that same saddness and hopelessness.

Glowing red eyes could be seen in the water but they slowly disappeared along with the earthquake.

Tangle's POV

After The earthquake ended, I was holding onto my desk for dear life, that shit was strong. Too powerful, I hope another one doesn't happen that would kill me I really don't like earthquakes, makes my tail freak out every time man.

Moments later I heard someone scream, my ear went up as I remembered about my co workers, I quickly ran out of my office And entered another office room " everyone alright?!" I yelled while scanning the room, I saw my good friend Amy on the floor I would quickly use my tail to help her and help the others as well "jeez.. What happened,," said the pink hedgehog as she held her head, I looked at her while picking things up "there was a strong earthquake" I said calmly the pink hedgehog looked at me with confusion and then shoke her head "right! We need to look into this! But first we need to clean this place you first" she said with pride.

That girl is a special one, I'm glad she's doing great things for the world, we need more people like her here in my opinion, there are too many assholes living I would personally get rid of them all but hey, this world needs dicks too.

A few days have passed and we still don't have any idea what caused the earthquake and the sea to boil. a couple of others said it was an underground volcano but it can't be, we would have noticed it a long time ago! it most be something else or something alive.. I have an suspicious something alive did it but no one seems to believe me, and think I'm overthinking it. Or going crazy those sobs I heard is not me going insane THOSE WERE REAL!...

I know they were... I'll prove it, I swear.
