Quick A/N;;
Just want to say, this is a Jaiden centric fanfic. I'll try to include others when I can, but this story will be focusing mainly on q!Jaiden. Also, sorry if I ever get any translations wrong if I do show some others characters from time to time. I only speak english so I wish I could understand some QSMP streamers more but I'm so lost when I hear other languages lmao. I know google translate isn't the most reliable, especially with like full sentences and slang, so everyone will mostly be speaking english with a couple words thrown in here or there. If a character does say something weird when I try translating other languages, please correct me!
ANYWAYS, keep in mind this is an AU and will vary quite a bit from the actual QSMP, thank you.
( Timeline will be around the time Cucurucho sent Jaiden to the dungeon with the timer, except things will go a bit differently instead.)➴
Everything was blurry. She felt like she was underwater, and that's when she quickly realized that she was in fact underwater. Or.. under some kind of liquid, at least. Her body was completely submerged in something. She was floating, and yet, had never felt so hopelessly trapped before. She could barely stretch out her arms, which easily met walls of glass ensuring she was kept locked within.
Was this some kind of tube? A test tube.. She felt like she's seen ones like this before. It was just harder to tell at first when you're inside of it.
She had some sort of mask on her face. It covered her mouth and nose, with a long cord trailing down out from it. Presumably, this was feeding her oxygen to be able to breath underwater. Noticing this, she'd also quickly notice there were more cords. Long, translucent cords that stretched all around her. Some went into her skin, the point of puncture covered by some kind of tape to keep the cords in place.
She wanted to panic. She wanted to rip the cords out of her body, and pound on the glass in hopes of breaking it. She wanted to do anything, but she felt horribly sluggish. It was hard to move. She felt almost exhausted, each movement draining more energy from her. Sluggish, exhausted, and horribly drowsy.
What was this?
She felt alone.
Horribly alone.
Even if anyone was there, outside, they wouldn't be able to hear her cries.. or see them, for that matter. The water drowned it all out.She was cold too. She couldn't help but unconsciously curl up a bit into the fetal position. In this strange tube, she felt so exposed. So vulnerable. So.. frail.
She felt like she'd been abandoned here. Alone, deprived of most sensations within this strange tank. Was this how fish felt like when you put them in a bowl with nothing else in it?
There was nothing for her. Just the murky water, and the glass she could barely see through. Everything was a blurry mess of colors outside.She hugged herself a bit tightly, closing her eyes for just a moment.
But when she opened them, she could finally see something different. A figure. It was too hazy to make out the details, but it was certainly something.. Someone.
They tilted their head, staring at her. And she stared back.In that moment, it was just the two of them.
She found herself drawing closer to the glass. They did too.They placed a hand on the glass.
She hesitated for a moment, but joined them.
Her hand met theirs, separated by just a few inches of glass.And suddenly she didn't feel so alone.
