Tsireya, Lo'ak, Neteyam, Rotxo, Tirol and Kiri are sitting in a round shape on a huge rock next to the sea, practicing their breath.
"Breath in", Tsireya indicates as Rotxo shows to the Omatikaya teens how to do it properly, the four of them observing him carefully as the sound of inhaling is heard.
"And... breath out."
They all exhale, Rotxo mimics this action looking at the Forest kids to see if they're doing it correctly.
His eyes stay a little bit longer on Tirol, noticing her bad posture, making her breath with her torso and shoulders instead of her tummy.
"Imagine a flickering flame," Tsireya continues, "you might slow down your heartbeat."
Lo'ak struggles too, so Tsireya puts her left hand on his heart and her right hand on his stomach, helping him.
"Breath in", she indicates, "breath from down here". Lo'ak eyes move to her, as she speaks "breath out slowly." He's clearly flustered, his pupils are dilated.
"Lo'ak", she calls, "your heartbeat is fast."
"Sorry", he quickly replies, not daring to look in her green eyes.
"Try to focus."
"Okay", he nods.
Neteyam is clearly amused by how flustered his brother is and don't even hides it: he smiles widely, sharing looks with his sister and Rotxo.
The Metkayina boy grins too, finding the scene cute.
Tirol tries to contain her laugh, finding it adorable as well, but the boys' behavior making it funnier.
Meanwhile, Kiri frowns while looking at them, rolling her eyes.
"Relax, Kiri", Tirol whispers to her.
"Let your mind clear", Tsireya continues.
After some time of training, Tsireya proposes to everyone to swim with the ilus for practicing breath even more.
They all accepted, except Tirol, who prefers to train on the rock for a bit again.
"I fucking struggle," she growls to herself, as Tuk and her brothers follow Tsireya. Kiri is already gone, exploring the ocean. Rotxo does not follow them though, he's going towards another way.
"Hey!" She calls him. "Are you busy right now?"
"Huh," Rotxo hesitates, he is supposed to go with Ao'nung and his friends, but he does not really want to, actually.
He dislikes Ao'nung's friends.
How can you like dumb and mean people, unless you are dumb and mean yourself?
"Not really", he finally replies, stepping closer to Tirol. "Why?"
"I struggle with breath holding. Could you help me?"
Contrary to him, she's not shy to ask what she wants.
Ao'nung can wait.
"Of course," he replies softly, feeling oddly honored that she decides to ask him help instead of someone else.
"Thank you."
He sits besides her.
"Alright, show me how you breath." He demands.
Tirol obeys and inhale some seconds before exhaling.
Ah, here she goes again: breathing with her torso instead of her stomach.
