Shot Through The Heart

Beomgyu started thinking of Taehyun nonstop in his free time. They had just met, but he was the only thing that crossed Beomgyu's mind when Crossrose was mentioned. Choi wished to see Kang again, a lot more. His hopes came true. Another collaborative mission came up. But Taehyun was really distant this time. Kang didn't bother to look at Beomgyu, let alone talk to him. The older followed him after the mission. 

"Taehyun." he wouldn't stop. Beomgyu grabbed his arm. "Taehyun, look at me." Kang turned to look at him. His gaze was cold but the glisten in his eyes indicated that he was crying.

 "What do you want?" His tone was harsh.

 "Why wouldn't you acknowledge me earlier?" the younger pulled away.

 "Just leave me alone, I don't want to talk to anyone." He went to his squad's van and got in, putting in his airpods while refusing to talk to anyone.

Back at Crossrose HQ, Porsche requested to talk to him. "Taehyun, what's going on? You won't talk to anyone." he stated. The younger began to shake from panic, remaining silent. He wasn't sure what to say, Porsche was like an older brother to him. "Tae sit down, it's okay.." The boss said gently. He guided Kang to one of the couches. Taehyun started crying while Porsche held him close. "You're okay.. I'm here.." the younger continued crying, extremely hard. It was to the point he almost couldn't breathe. 

"Tae breathe.." After about half an hour, taehyun calmed down. Porsche brought him a vanilla chai tea, aware that it was his favorite. He sat across from the younger and asked again. "Now, what's going on?.." 

Kang took a deep breath. "A few of my squadmates have been talking negatively about me.. Specifically about personal information.." Porsche looked at him. 

"Taehyun, what are they saying?" talking negatively about top agents was strictly forbidden. Taehyun was one of those agents, as he excelled quickly while climbing the ranks.

"They were saying that you only gave me the shot because of what happened when I was 13.. And I don't know how, but word of my sexuality got out.. Maybe I forgot to turn my mic off.. And I called a guy from silentshot cute.. But he really was.. Now I can't stop thinking about him.. I'm going crazy, Porsche.." Taehyun admitted.  

The boss told him that there is nothing wrong with loving someone of the same gender. Though if they are involved with the mafia, they can only be from allied clans. It would take a lot more than just one to two hours of collaborative missions now, would it? Porsche thought, trying to find a way to bring the boys closer. But he was very wrong. That's all it took.
