"Oliver Alexander Kingsman. You hand me that bottle and sober the fuck up right now."

Elena's words seemed to stun him. He wanted to argue, make some cocky retort, but he didn't, and obediently handed her the bottle of beer he was holding, his head hung in shame.

"What on earth is going on Oliver? I don't want to pry but i can't stand seeing you like this. Drinking your feelings away is not what we do in this household." Elena said softly, she cares, she cares a lot and it shows.

Oliver tried to speak but all that came out was incoherent babble, he wrapped his arms around Elena and just started to uncontrollably sob.

"He- he doesn't love me- and just doesn't care- and now he's with that guy and i-" He started to ramble inbetween his sobs, every word making him cry more and more.

Elena wrapped her arms around him, comforting him. "Hey its okay... How about we get you cleaned up, sobered up, and we can talk about it?" She says sweetly.

Oliver wipes his tears and nods, he goes to finally take a shower, pulling on some clean clothes and drinking some water as he sat down at the kitchen table with Elena.

He told her everything.
Every minute detail. Everything. Every thought, every feeling, all of it.
He told her about every post, everything he cried over, all the long texts and late night call.

Elena was pissed by the end of it.
She hated the fact that someone would be so dismissive of him and just ignore him like that.
But then she thinks about it for a while.
She thinks, and something sparks her mind.

"Wait... Kristian, is he blonde, skinny,
twinky-looking? Wears pastels and vivid colors and looks like he belongs in a kids cartoon?"
She asks him, wondering if she got this right.

"Yeah..? Thats him, how did you know?"
Oliver asks, confused about this.

"Oh lord okay.
Well. I've been seeing him outside the house. He walks past a few times a day, clearly doesn't live in the neighbourhood. But he just stands and stares at the house.
Sometimes theres this other guy with him, who when he sees Kristian looking at the house, he drags him away."

Felix.
Fucking Felix?

Hes the reason Kristian hasn't spoken to him. Hasn't said anything.
He's keeping Kristian to himself.

That bastard.

It all seemed to click for Oliver at once.
It hit him like a freight train, the realisation of it all.

Without saying a word, he rushed up from the table and ran to his room, grabbing a bag and his stuff and rushing out the door.

He's going to go give someone a piece of his mind. Wether thats Felix or Kristian, that depends on who he sees first.
That will be an uncomfortable discussion either way. But hey, whats the harm?

He searched the town. Everywhere he possibly could. He didn't leave a single place left. Every café, the school buildings, all the shops.
Nothing.

He decided to go search the city outskirts, by the river.

And there, was what he wished to never see.

Kristian, in Felix's arms, kissing eachother and laughing, smiling at eachother and enjoying themselves.

His heart drops.
His eyes full of tears.

"...Kristian?" He mutters under his breath, looking at the two of them with wide eyes.

Kristian looks so happy.
So happy without him.

"...Oliver?" Kristian says, his eyes wide at the sight of Oliver infront of him.

Felix sees Oliver and his hold on Kristian tightens, pulling him closer to himself.
However, Kristian shoves him off and runs up to Oliver, hugging him tight as tears stream down his face.

"You're okay! I was so worried- you stopped coming to school and deleted all your socials and i- I was so afraid that something had happened to you-!" Kristian says, rambling about his worry.
His hands go to Oliver's cheeks, seeing how exhausted and miserable he looks.

"Oh god are you okay Oliver? You look so terrible- Are you hungry? i have some food if you need it-"

"How's it been with Felix." Oliver asks coldly, holding back his tears.

"Oliver i've missed you-"

"Tell me. How's it been with him. Was it worth it? Was it everything you hoped for?" He asks again, his tone more harsh.

"Not the same. Not as good.
I wished it was you."

Olivers eyes widen, was he serious? No way, theres no way he was serious. Was there? No? Maybe? He hopes.
But before he can get a single word in, Felix grabs a hold of Kristian, pulling him to his chest and kissing him.

"Sorry Oliver. My boyfriend, not yours."
Felix says in a cocky way with a grin on his face.
Kristian wanted to pull away, but just stood there in Felix's arms.

Oliver's dreams are crushed once again.
And they'll stay that way. Atleast for now.
As his tears start to fall, he starts to run, running back to his home. Running away.
Running away again.

"Oliver wait please!" Kristian calls out, trying to get out of Felix's grip. After a while of struggling, he finally gets out and starts to run after Oliver.

Oliver was drowning out all of Kristian's words. He didn't want to hear it.

Boyfriend of all things?
He was Felix's boyfriend.
Those words, Felix's taunts, they haunted him.
His mind was blurry, clouded with some feeling he just can't place.

Betrayal.
He felt betrayed.
Betrayed and abandoned, by the one he loves.

He kept running until he felt someone grab his wrist. He turned to look. Wondering who on earth wanted to speak with him in this state.
He didn't like the thought of what would happen when he looked up.

But he did.

He looked.

And no matter what he saw, he wished he had kept running. He wanted to keep running.
Running was all that he had on his mind.
He can't like like this anymore.
